They sound great, just depends on what they actually want, what the budget is and how many people will be there.

Then there is hotels and flights and insurances etc ~ would people be paying for their own flights and hotel?

When did she get engaged? x

Don't know how many will attend, quite a way off, just looking at stuff:D
They want that hotel, but its adults only, so I've emailed to ask if people with kids want to go are they allowed in for the wedding day.

Haha No, the wedding shouldn't cost that much for them then, but that depends on what dress she chooses and how much is it!

Awww made up for you all, Congrats to them both!!!

It looks awesome there ~ hope they get sorted soon xx

  • Compare the prices/packages to what the travel agents can offer as well. My friend got married in Dom Rep and went with First Choice

Avoid the hurricane season, as if a hurricane occured it would cause a major spanner in the works!

Don't forget also she will need to pay to have her legal documents translated, there was a thread on here a while back and she was pretty shocked at the cost of the translations

Also, she will need to factor in that her wedding dress will be part of the luggage allowance, and from my friend's experience, they won't let her take it separately unless she packs it in a case on it's own *which will likely incur extra baggage charges anyway)

Reading that back, it sounds very negative doesnt it lol?! It's not meant to be, I'm just trying to point out some of the things that might not have been considered in the excitement

Hope they find the wedding of there dreams though

Does anyone remember the first series of 'Airline' where a whole party from Manchester (?) travelled to the DR for a wedding? I seem to recall the bride and groom were cousins...................
I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair
