Hi,
I received this email from PaydayUK Loans yesterday:
Thank you for your recent application to PaydayUK (NEWWW). Your Payday Loan has been approved for £160.00, although we have been unable to deposit your loan as your debit card and bank details have not been entered.
To finalise your loan, click the link below, enter your debit card, and bank account details and electronically sign. It's as easy as that! Note that we need your debit card details to take repayment at the end of your loan and your bank details so we can transfer the money to you.
I have NEVER EVER applied for a PayDay loan, is this just a sales type email or do you think someone has applied in my name? I dont want to call them is its just a sales email. And if it is a sales email can I ask them to NEVER contact me again?
Thanks in advance for your replies
Tasha

this kind of email should read:
"Thank you for your recent application to PaydayUK (AFN1). Your Payday Loan has been approved for £x, although we have been unable to deposit your loan as your debit card details have not been confirmed.
To finalise your loan, you just need to call one of our Underwriters who will confirm your card details with you and finalise your loan over the phone. Please dial the number below and select Option 2."
I have applied before but they ask you to call to confirm. If you haven't applied better check your credit file as a search may have been made, otherwise just ignore it.0 -

Have you applied for a loan elsewhere? Especially online?
Last year I was looking for £2,000 to buy a car and got offers from PayDay loan companies for £100 to £200. Some help that was....
It is speculative marketing once your details have been passed to all and sundry.0 -
I did make some enquiries about a loan.... maybe its from that then.
Thanks for your replies.
Still not sure if I should just ignore it or call them?

It may be worth just going to the official site through google and getting their number and asking the question as to weather an application has been recieved in your name. I wouldnt reply in anyway to the email or contact any numbers that were supplied on it.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
