No 7 item upto £5 for 39p delivered to store

my order was cancelled saying items were oos, but when i checked online they were both in stock, so i rang up cs and she said there were lots of errors over the weekend (last weekend) so reordered them but as i had already used the voucher wouldnt let me use it again but she added 500 points ontomy advantage card.

Just checked the Boots website and it says this:
Unfortunately the No7 voucher can no longer be redeemed online. However, the offer is still available in store when a valid voucher is presented at the tills.

why does it mean they couldn't get it right?

surely it means they caught on to the fact that you didn't actually need to have spent anything to get the £5 voucher code because ....... it was on here !!!! and also folk were using it multiple times

I've just rung up because my item got cancelled though it is in stock now. The girl has given me a code so that when I recieve my item, they will refund me £5.

Went to collect my orders today, I noticed my local store prices vary from the website? The no7 hairband was £6 in store but £3.92 online and muslin squares £5.50 instore and again £4.40 online? I wonder why they do this?

Ordered the 5ml undercoat 5ml topcoat which was £4.69 online so used the code, and they sent me the 10ml bottle version which retails at £10.00 instore, very happy with that!

Perhaps they should have anticipated people abusing the code and therefore have designed it so people like me who did only want to use it once for myself could benefit?
Individual codes would have worked but are obviously more expensive for Boots to implement.

I went to Boots today with the order numbers copied from my paypal account and 1 of the orders didn't exist ( so have done a chargeback) and the other order doesn't have the No 7 item in. Just checked my orders on line and no mention of the first order it has disappeared and the No 7 item isn't showing in the second order. Bit of a cheek that they did cancelled and made the items disappear without even an email to let me know. :mad:Was looking forward to painting my nails.
