Help with getting a loan!

Hi Jacko198
You really should be saving as it will be too easy to spend all of your income without learning good habits for later. £600 per month is a lot to "fritter" away, which is what you are doing.
Whilst nobody wants to stop anyone having a good time, managing your money whilst you have surplus is a good skill to learn. What happens if for some reason you have to move out - you get a better paid job not so close to home for instance? Why don't you sit down and work out exactly where your money is going and work out a proper budget where you set aside so much for fuel, clothes, going out and saving. You might want to save 1/3, spend a 1/3 and the other 1/3 goes to rainy day e.g. replacing your car without clearing out all of your savings.
I don't want to scare you but if you have a look at the debt free board you will see that there are families having to manage on a lot less per month than your spending money! And whilst it is very kind and generous of your parents not to charge you any keep, they are not doing you any favours. IMO they would be better to charge you keep and if they don't wish to use the money, put it aside so that you have a lump sum available in the future e.g. towards a deposit on a flat/house.
Good luck - but don't go down the loan route - wait a couple of months, save the money and see what a great feeling it is to buy a car without owing the money to someone else!0
