Get a used HP4 or HP6 Laserjet instead for maybe 20 pounds, and a new toner good for 5000 pages is about the same. They are a bit slow, but pretty reliable.

I bought this printer about 18 months ago.

Very pleased with it.

After using an inkjet, I couldn't get used to the speed it churns out the pages.
