Barclays student Loan HELP!!!!

Hi,
In June 2008 I took a loan of £6000 from Barclays to pay for my IT course with a company called advent training. Now the company has gone out of business and I am not able to continue with my course. The loan I took from Barclays I paid it of after one year.
I have read the Barclays agreement letter and there is a small section that says ( if the contract is not fulfilled, perhaps because the supplier has gone out of business, you may still be able to sue us).
I called Barclays and they told me they are trying to find a different provider for my course and will write to me when they find one. It has now been over one month and still nothing, and I have called them a few times but they say they don't know how long this will take but they will let me know when they know.

Originally when I took the loan, I applied via advent training (the IT training company) and it was them who send the forms to sign for the loan.

Can some one Help and advise if there is anything I can do, to maybe have my money back and find my own training provider as i have asked Barclays to pay me the money but they refused to do so.

I doubt they will pay you the money back,you chose the trainer barclays only financed the deal,if they are doing what they promise then i suggest you are being fairly treated

Surely this is your course why are you relying on Barclays can't you look as well.

The company that was providing the training was funded by Barclays and the reason they went out of business is because Barclays stoped funding them.
