Welcome Finance - some advice needed

I have a loan with welcome finance that is close to being paid off. I have approx 7 months of payments left to make, however the term of the loan will run over as 4 out of these 7 are missed payments from about 3 years back.
Today they sent me a notice of sums of arrears letter.
Firstly they say the balance owed is £100 more than what was shown on my statement I received last week.
Secondly the letter has a paragraph headed Default sums and Interest which reads:
You may have to pay default sums and interest in relation to the missed or partly made payments referred to in this notice. Please contact us if you would like further details
This is the first letter I have had from them regarding arrears, despite the payments being missed 3 years ago and since then I have kept up to date.
I am currently composing a letter to put my questions to them, but I would like some help please on the law regarding a financial company providing their customer with details of any charges they may get. Surely details of these have to sent to me in a timely manner and also detailing any amounts they may be? I have had nothing from them before and suddenly I get a vague letter saying ther may be charges, yet no details of them.
Thanks

I actually don't know what you need to add to the letter, obviously you need to query the statement as the amount differs, but usually if you miss payments you make them up either later and they earn more interest or you make a double payment to make up for it.
Either way, Bump for evening readers.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
