Yes, but it's hard to get anything not in a packet these days, even basic foods, I wish there was more choice (apart from what I grow!).

it would be great if someone would start a chain of supermarkets that just sold foods in bulk, refillable or byo containers. packaging does give companies a chance to justify overcharging i fear.

Yes definitely, I've love that type of store. I buy lots of basic ingredients and cook a lot and see supermarkets as just huge places largely full of aisles of processed foods I mostly don't want. I end up with piles of packaging from anything I do buy.
