I have the deatils of a couple of local stockists and will phone on Monday. Regarding haggling - do wedding dress shops expect this?? How many of you have got money of your dresses through haggling and how much did you save??? Also would we be more likely to save more if you paid in full up front rather than paying half?? and are the alterations usually included in the price??

I haggled my dress from £500 to £300 as it was the display model which had a RRP of £950! I just stood in the dress and told them it was over budget and what chance was them coming down to my budget of £300! They agreed as long as I paid in full there and then and took it away with me. Alteration vary from shop to shop, my shop the alterations where extra even on full price dresses, but if I had been paying full price I would have haggled to have them included!
