In a dilemma now.... I pass a village greengrocers everyday when taking/collecting kids from school. It's not organic or local produce BUT it did close down a year ago and the guy who ran the butchers next door bought it to keep a greengrocers in the village. It's his shop that i have started buying some of my meat from. I do believe in supporting local businesses and surely it's better than the supermarket.... but am I compromising again for the sake of convenience???
Confused, Ging x0 -
Thanks Greenbee. This week isn't too much of a problem though. I have loads of meat still from the farm shop and am going to be near Sainsbury's tomorrow so can pop in for some f+v.
Need to menu plan before so I don't buy stuff we don't need....

Came to this a bit late, but next time you're in London, a good place to get a bite to eat is the Food for Thought cafe in Covent Garden - everything's veggie, it's really inexpensive (for London!) and it's quite fun and different - big cushions on the floor, like being back in the 70s!2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -

That sounds like great fun, thanks Liz x0 -

Whereabouts are you? I thought we were too far from any box schemes, but a not-so-local one has just increased its delivery range to cover my town, so may be worth a regular check of the sites?0
