Husband and I are now just over 6 months in to BR. A few weeks ago he received a letter informing him his file has now been transferred to the RTLU which I understand is a good sign.
I have just checked the IS register today and under my name my OR contact details have changed to the 'National Dividends Unit'. What does this mean? Who are they? I havent received a letter from the OR informing me this would happen, is that normal procedure?
I am a worrier and I just havent seen this happen in any previous threads so just not sure if its a good sign or I am being investigated further?
Any advice appreciated, I dont know what I would do without this place, thanks all

from what I remember NDU & RTLU are very much the same they deal with assets & distribution of any funds from your bankruptcy case to creditors..certanily wouldnt worry about it most of the time when someone is transferred to RTLU they never receive word from the receiver if anything early discharge soon follows..I dont think its a sign of being investigated further if that was the case the receiver would have called you in for further interviews...all in all it sounds like they're coming close to closing your cases
just refresh my old knackered memory...was a business involved at all?We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Thanks Phil, no business involved.0

My husband and I both went BR on 15th December and haven't heard anything from OR yet but just checked the IS register and our OR contact details have also changed to the National Dividends Unit. I was told by the OR that my case was really straight forward and as we're having to survive solely on benefits at the moment there won't be any IPA so I'm guessing that it isn't anything to worry about.0

I have replied elswhere, but a 'dividend' is the share of the BR pot the creditors get, or will get on completion of an IPA, and the funds realised from any assets, the NDU is charged with distributing those 'Dividands' fairly
Or thats the way i see there roleThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

I just read that somewhere else too & that makes sense to us as we had some proceeds from the sale of a vehicle that we handed over to the OR when we went BR.0

So if hubbie was sent the ED possible letter back at beginning of Dec, and his IS register is still showing the original BR court, then ED isnt going through ??
They mentioned that they would have to contact the creditors for objections, and I bet I know which one has put one in !!! He's hounding us and making life hell, and the OR know all of it but looks like he may have succeeded :-(DMP Mutual Support Thread Member : 3180 -
