Hi,
Does anyone know where i can get a special birthday cake for my nans 80th?
Making it myself isn't an option, as my cakes are always hard lol
Online or in the Essex/London area. It can even be in the Birmingham area
Any help is much appreciated! :T

I own Molly's Little Bakery and we specialise in homemade cupcakes. Something different from the usual cakes and alot less mess than cutting it up to serve!

Costco do lovely cakes, really yummy and pretty big too. You could have one of those if you know someone with a card. They personalise them too, and I'm sure they're not very expensive.
Or you could do a cupcake tower... They look much easier to do, and the cupcakes are easy to bake and can be frozen if needed so you can bake them one day and ice them nearer the time. (Give's time for error!) Have a look here for the idea, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2316425 there are loads of other ways to decorate it though.
Just thought, you could even use a cake mix for the cupcakes if you really don't bake!Bump due 22nd September0 -

They're big and cheap................. and nasty. The synthetic cream icing is horrifically sweet and slimy and the sponge is tasteless.hayleythedaisy wrote: »Or you could do a cupcake tower... Freezing cakes can make them dry and inedible. I wouldn't recommend it.hayleythedaisy wrote: »Just thought, you could even use a cake mix for the cupcakes if you really don't bake!

What about Paul's bakery, we have one on every corner...:j
Everyone in my family get cakes from them. Their quite cheap and edible. But make sure you look through their catalogue, don't let them try and sell you their typical fruit sponge and jam cake, I don't think i could bear it!0
