Invalid default Notices help most appreciated please!

Good Morning Everyone

I would be most grateful for some advice. Late last year I received my SAR request back from Capital One. There was no default notice within this request, dispite asking for a copy. I was defaulted May 2006 credit limit £800.

At the end of December 09 I sucessfully aquired £1480 back in Charges/Interest.

I know that I have two years for this to drop off, but I am hoping to get a mortgage before this time.

Is there anyway that maybe able to remove this notice from my credit files since I didint receive any notice and have claimed back teh default charges?

Any advice most appreciated please. Thanks!
