Loans with Guaranteed Interest Rate

Hi

I need to apply for a loan, but don't want to go through any more applications to find that the interest rate I'm offered is way above the advertised rate...does anyone know of anyone offering loans with the interest guaranteed as being the rate advertised?

The Lombard Direct loan recommended on this website is no longer guaranteed and is now 'typical' like everywhere else!

Unfortunately I applied for a loan over the phone with Northern Rock yesterday, but as the interest rate wasn't very competitive I didn't take it out - will this affect my application with Nationwide?

Yes it will show on your credit history - this 'Risk Based Pricing' is a complete scam as it means you have no idea which provider is cheapest, and once you've got a couple of quotes you're credit rating starts to become damaged.
