I'm in a state about my sons wedding. I have my dress even though the wedding is not until sept. However, I'm stuck about what to do with my hair. I have short cropped hair & just dont suit hats at all. I have been trying on facinators & I dont even like any of the ones I've seen. I either look like a chocolate box, or like I've got a giant spider on my head. I dont want to look like Victoria Beckham. I know I've got quite a while yet, so something might turn up, but has anyone else had this problem. I feel I need to do something to dress my head up, but not a hat or facinator.

Hi Katykat
I have to say that most people look like chocolate boxes when they wear fascinators so your not alone.
As it's such a special occasion why not get one designed and made for you especially? That way it can be as subtle as you want it.0 -
what about something like this

it says they are suitable for short hair too and I think they are really pretty without being OTT.0 -
What about something like a head band. You can get some simple but elegant ones with pearls or crystals.0

Have you considered having a nice flower in your hair? Could be something to match the buttonholes, bouquet etc. which would link you in nicely with the wedding party.0

Shes got bobbed hair and shes going to have one side pinned back with the comb in. They have some lovely hairbands, slides and other hair bits on that site aswell. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -

These are lovely. It's about time mothers were allowed to go without hats. Many of them look ridiculous.0
