I've just received a film factory email with an attachment of a printable ticket for a Cars screening. It says admit 2 but has no reference numbers so I was wondering if I could just print it twice so my husband and daughter could go with my son and I? Has anyone tried this before?

Well the organisors surely know how many seats in the cinema screening! You could be pushing someone out of a genuine seat!!

A couple of recent screenings i've went to had a list at the door with a list of all the valid email addresses all the email screenings were sent to.

So if you didn't quote your email address they don't let you in and they only issued 2 tickets per email addy !

I've never had emai addy checked and been to about 100 or so free screenings. And in that time i have only once seen the cinema full. Always get there early as alot of people get there at 6.30 and either the film has started (no ads or trailers are shown) or find it hard to find a seat (there might be 4/6 of them etc).

And if you read the ticket (on some) it does say first come first served so i think they go over by 10% or so.

And only 2 of them where they asked to see my mobile and made a note of make and my name and told me to switch it off. Also they had their own people at the door.
  • The printed tickets have your name on and you need ID with you. Why don't you just sign up under your hubbys email add so he can get some tickets with his name printed on. If you abuse it by printing the same thing twice you may well get away with it, but somewhere down the line someone will abuse it and it will result in people losing out, ie - a film that lots of people want free tickets for, everyone prints off lots of mails and people getting turned away who have done everything by the book. Then eventually, they make it more complicated for you to get tickets and prove who you are.

hi! any chance there is an extra ticket about for wed 26/7, 6.30 pm BRISTOL showing of CARS? Single mum with 2 kiddies... i've registered both the children and well as myself with the film factory, all different emails. i won, they haven't. i did get confirmation emails that my children had registered, so they were accepted. has anyone with a child's membership 'won'?

again... if there is a chance anyone has an extra ticket, we would really appreciate it! thanks!

The last screening I went to, they asked me for ID, which I think is fair enough.

Pennypincher - I live in London, so can't help, but my suggestion is if you can't get a spare tickets, surely if you asked, the usher would accept you ID and that your kids are going in your place, and let you walk your children into the cinema, get them settled and leave them there while you go to the lobby and read a book? I don't know how old your kids are but this is what my Mum used to do when she took us to the cinema's children's "Saturday club". I am sure they will be fine as it is all going to be families for a kids film?
  • If anyone was thinking of buying Max Power for the cinema tickets, I have this voucher to get 2.26 off the price of it....
