Dear Sir/Madam
In an effort to get finances under control, I have sought help from the Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) who have advised me two options, first being a DRO (debt relief order) and second a self-help DMP (debt management plan) I have chosen to do the DMP as I accept full responsibility and wish to pay my debts.
I am currently in financial difficulties because of a recent cut in hours, resulting in a £280 a month salary reductions
After payment of day-to-day living expenses, I have £8 per month with which to make repayments to all my creditors.
On a pro-rata basis, I am able to pay you a regular amount of £1 per month. Although this is a very low amount, may I please point out that in 4 months’ time another existing expense that I have to pay, as it is rent arrears, will have come to an end, leaving me an extra £70 per month to divide between my creditors also in 20 months my guaranteed loan will also come to an end, leaving me an extra £147 to divide between my creditors making a total of £225 available to share on a pro rata basis between my creditors.
In the meantime, please send written acceptance of this offer and consider reducing or stopping the interest and other charges on the account(s).
I will write to you again as soon as my circumstances improve.
Thank you in anticipation of your kind assistance.
Yours faithfully,

should i change anything delete anything add anything etc ?

When you say guaranteed loan do you mean a secured loan? if so I should make that clear.
I would also make this change -

I have £8 per month with which to make repayments to all my unsecured creditors.

I personally would also change the bit about freezing interest to something more like this -
"If interest or other charges are being added to the account, I would be grateful if you would freeze these so my debt does not increase".

Not sure if you have seen this letter http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/temp/7349_13371.pdf but it may be useful to look at how things are worded on this template, although obviously you want to put in more information about your situation.
A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give
or "It costs nowt to be nice"
