I'm more than greatful to those who take the time and effort to find these comps and post the answers. I've been unemployed for over a year now (wrong side of 50), and these give me a break from the soul destroying routine of trying to find a job. The wins I've had have been a real morale booster and given my wife and myself some days out that we couldn't afford if we had to pay - this Sunday we're off to see Wasps v Gloucester thanks to MSE and the kind soul who posted the comp.

I've got agree with the comments up to now, other than utopiandream's of course.Comping can be great fun & posting the comps just adds to the fun.I've had so many great prizes from here that I have lost track.I've been to New York via comping and off to Canada soon.Plus all the days out, concerts, plays and gifts for others.Yes,I do enter quite a few,as do lots of us.I especially appreciate it when members such as tmen put so much effort in to getting us the answers,
There are not many other comping sites that will do the same so lets celebrate MSE & keep it going.

I'd say the signature sums it all up
"write down & number competitions you do & youll see that your lucky if u win even 1 thing in 4000 ! ps if u find an error with a comp tell the site running the comp cheers"

My hit rate seems about 1:900 but there have been some very nice ones in that.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

I do these because they are a bit of fun and a bit of a challenge for google sometimes :), I'm happy to share the answers because that's what we do on MSE and it's really nice when somebody on here wins.

Utopian Dream- what a misleading name. Why be such a misery guts? It didn't take me 12 minutes to do it, but I am very intelligent. I just don't see why you felt the need to share the fact that your time is ssooooo precious. It clearly isn't if you had time to post a negative comment! No-one cares if you have time or not!!

Sorry to bump but everywhere I look there seems to be a rude and obnoxious comment by utopiandream!! I noticed the signature a while ago. I just can't believe people can be so ungrateful!!!! AND, personally, even if this took me 12 minutes to enter, I believe it WOULD be worth it!! When do you ever get anything/earn anything in the price range of a top boxset? I'm guessing £100 or so? That's a good investment I say!!

Couldn't get over the fact that 7 people thanked them:eek:

I have posted a couple of the smaller gardening ones and I can certainly agree that is labour intensive. But 12 minutes to complete them when the answers are provided for you?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
