Which pillows?

Options
I constantly suffer from neck pain due to bad pillows. I can't have feather pillows as I have an allergy to feathers. So i always buy poly ones.

I end up buying pillows every 6 months but I just can't find ones that suit me. I have bought soft ones, medium ones, hard ones, special neck-support ones, thin ones and thick ones. I can't seem to get on with any!

Any ideas?

Iv'e been hanging my nose over those memory foam pillows. they are rather expensive though , I think dunhelms do them the cheapest at around £40 each. I have yet to find anyone who has one though. Good luck with your search.
It is unwise to pay too much but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, all you lose is a little money... that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot...it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better (John Ruskin - 19 ctry author, art critic & social reformer)

After a neck injury, I bought some support pillows in Asda for around £5 each, and they are the most comfortable pillows I've ever had!

They haven't gone flat or saggy like other pillows either.
Here I go again on my own....

We've got memory pillows - Dunlopillow ones - and they are good. Very expensive but we got them when we bought the Dunlopillow mattress so it worked out better. Certainly helps make sleep more comfortable, had them nearly a year now and no sign of wearing. We got the ones with the memory foam (latex) on one side and a down layer on the other so they're not too hard but still very supporting.

    Hope that helps.

I agree with Gers-these are the pillows we have and are excellent!

Do you have any points on your nectar card? You could exchange these and use the in Argo and pay or part pay towards them:confused:

We have Dunlopillows too - firm for me and regular for DH, IIRC they were about £17 each but I think they're worth every penny. I've tried numerous other pillows in the past but these are the best yet.

I have Dunlopillo latex foam ones, I think they're probably the same as the kind Noozan has, & although thay're quite expensive they're absolutely wonderful & have been worth every penny of the initial outlay. like you I spent a fortune on holowfibre ones, & none of them, not even the most expensive, lived up to their promises

there's a thread discussing the merits of different kinds of pillows HERE and another HERE

I bought this one from Argos and it really helped but I only got back to normal when we bought a new mattress too.
