  • as a newbie to the challenge, i hope this isn't a silly question: today i was going to get the bus into town and back. then i thought of the cost and decided to walk instead. can i count the money not spent towards my total?

talking of totals, i'm at £52, which = £3.72/day for the 14 days i've been in it.
Boyfriend & I have saved £12K in two years, thanks to careful budgeting and keeping a record of what we spend. I've never paid myself this amount of money before - it feels great!

Got my payslip today -early because of Easter and our Finance Officer is going away - ended up getting £392.95 overtime (after tax) which is way more than I expected - includes the overtime I missed through being ill last week - I just need to make the time up next month - so very happy.:j

£653.50 is going to be my final total for March. I won't be doing any more jobs until Friday and they fall into my April Month (I'm running my Months pay day to pay day)

Really pleased had a good month - not sure I'll be able to match it in April as I'm not too well at the moment but I'll set my target for £15 a day again and go from there! :)

    Hi All

Latest payout from free scratchcards has hit my account so that is another £10 to add to my total, taking me up to £43.27 so far this month.

£71.02 for me today. Won some concert tickets, but unable to go so sold them. As long as my magpie cheque gets to me in time, I will reach my target this month, which hasn't happened since December.
