Nothing to add to signature but clocked up some overtime that will be added at end of month.

I haven't posted for a while but I have been keeping up with the thread. I have my next big assignment due for my uni course and a teaching obs coming up so I'm a bit inundated and stressed. I haven't done any moneymaking this month other than my council tax and water rates and a small amount from tcb. I have loads I need to ebay but can't do it at the mo. :( I've never not made my target.... boo hoo...

On a positive note my mum has just paid for me and hubby to go on holiday with her in June to Turkey. Its my 40th birthday present! My mum is fab! But I have to pay for my three teenagers.

So... have I saved some money... or have I spent some....:)

    Hi All,

Sorry haven't been on here much, have had flu!! Rather hampered my money making activities. Have managed to get £8 from surveys (valued opinions and pinecone). Have listed some bits on Amazon, but so far no sales, might put them on ebay if I have the energy later! Just agreed to 3 hours overtime next week, so that's another £28 I wasn't expecting, yippee! Need it after having 2 days off sick this week (being self-employed I don't get paid if I don't work :( )Off to update my sig.

Got £10 deposit refund on event that didn't happen, so am up to £14 hard cash at the moment. Got a letter from Nationwide yesterday to say that my direct debit transfers are in place, so at some point £75 will be winging its way to me, but won't count it until in my bank. Same with Topcashback - have about £8 due. Also mobile is out of contract end of next week, so as soon as I get a new one the old one goes off for recycling.

Am really pleased I joined this challenge. Although only £14 so far it has really made me think of ways that I can save money, and if the outstanding cash doesn't arrive in March at least I get a headstart in April!

    Mornin all :hello:

I'd somehow managed to add my total up wrong dunno how.. Anyway, counted my little jar last nite and it has £59 in, bonus. And yes, I know I'm sad for sitting and counting it! :D x

Oo, I forgot that DH has a pot of coins collected from around the house. I will count it up and add to my overdraft paying off account. DSs are becoming very careful with their cash as they now realise how much they were leaving on floors, down the backs of chairs etc.

ETA £7 from change jar to go towards overdraft.

The rules now are that if it is down the back of a chair, in the washing machine or on the floor it is ours!!
