just had a very very rude woman on the phone who said they will call me every day! She did not want to listen when I said I was on a DMP with CCCS..... Hope she has a lovely day she obviously has job statisfaction being rude to people. I suppose I'm lucky that she is first rude debt collector I've spoken to since being on a DMP for last 3 years.
Anyone else had dealings with this company?

Oh yes I have, been on my DMP with CCCS since April last year and my Capital One card was transferred to Capquest then to them temporarily in November because they said they had a late payment, the thing is Fredericksons said they weren't dealing with it, just until the late payment was resolved, then in January they said they were still on at me because of the late payment from October, they wanted it reset back up with CCCS with a date and offer, they said they were dealing with the account and not Capital One, so I transferred details over, to be informed 2 weeks later Capital One were dealing with it. They were rude with me, wouldn't listen to me when I tried to explain things, woman hung up when I told her to listen to me. It was a very confusing few months.0

they are also dealing with my capital one account.
Thing is ive found them to be fine- one of the more reasonable companies out of all the ones ive dealt with! They ring me about once a month offering settlemet at the moment tho they seem desperate to settle!
it always amazes me the different experiences people can have with the same company!0 -
I tell you the worst DCA I've dealt with was Eos solutions, the woman rings up and says 'Its Sarah in the directors chair', imagine the pictures in my head, legs on the table, bag of crisps in one hand, phone in the other, swinging the chair round.0

I agree there, my husband has a Cap 1 card on the DMP too, funny how 1 has a late payment and the other is fine, I get the hassle and the husband doesn't, lol, same DMP paid in 1 lump sum a month. Maybe they think women are an easier target than men.0 -
You can force them to stop ringing - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=11571485&postcount=4Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Why are you putting yourself in this position by even speaking to these idiots?
Although I'm new here I'm confident in saying do not talk to these people under any circumstances! everything in writing only otherwise no contact!0
