Im looking to take out a loan with NR. They have the best rate as far as l can see (5.7%) for the period l need and l WONT be taking up their PPI. Has anyone any dealings with them that l should be aware of. If its bad l can go with my motgage lender at 5.89 but thats variable so could go up.

Thanks :D

can be quite pushey with insurance - a trick I found was to take them up on the insurance but then cancel within the cooling off period -

There are a fair few threads on here where members have ONLY been offered the good rate IF they takeout the PPI.

If they refuse it, the APR magically increases.

Good luck! and please let us know how you get on.

They said the APR wouldnt change because l didnt take out the PPI, it changes because of your credit score. I didnt go with them in the end because my mortgage company could better their rate but the saga doesnt end there but l will post that on new thread.
