Cheap 15ft pool / bargain chlorine generator (no more chemicals!)

Hi guys,
Intex 15ft easy set pool for the bargain price of £109 delivered with all the extras (cover / ladder / groundsheet). Found it on PLAY.COM of all places!
heres the link:

ALSO

If you dont fancy the idea of chemicals the take a gander at the toys r us website. After being quoted around £40-45 at our local pool supplier and getting totally confused by the different chemicals out there we bought the intex krystal clear chlorine generator for £99 (online offer only) with postage it comes up at £105 but that is only equivalent to about 2 seasons worth of chemicals. You just add natural salt to your pool and the chlorine generator does the rest - less hassle than chemicals and kinder to the kids and the pool. The salt doesn't evaporate like chlorine does so all you need to do is run the generator regularly to renew the chlorine. It removes the need to add other chemicals to stabilise the chlorine level as you can just generate more! Link here:

I have one of these Chlorine generators and it is great.

The o nly problem Ihave with it is that it is very sensitive to water flow so if the filters are not completely clean then it will not work. As long a you remember to check the filters before the cycle starts then if is brilliant and saves having to mess about with toxic chemicals and testing strips on an ongoing basis.
Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!
  • At the end of the summer, what do you do with the water? Do you just pull a plug and it floods your garden and does the chlorine kill your grass? And I guess you are left with a giant bare patch in your lawn.

Depending on where you live, firms that supply farmers often sell large bags of salt - 25kg jobs.
