It would help if I knew what they were called!

Afternoon,

Not sure if this is the right place to post or not but I am looking for some cutrain hook type things that fit on to a curtain track.. I think they are called gliders but not 100% sure. (They are "[" shaped with a hook that goes into the curtain tape then they er.. glide for opening and closing!)

I have seen some in one shop but they were too small for my track, its a rented flat so dont really want to buy a new pole / track.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Caro :)

I'd call them curtain hooks and they're normally made by Swish. They come in all shapes and sizes, depending on your rail.

They are called curtain gliders or hooks. There's loads on Ebay if that's any help:

LOL Sometimes the smallest things in life can cause the most irritation!

    Are they like

The problem is Harrison Drape and Swish made them in different sizes to fit their different width tracks and The DIY stores own brand tracks had them to fit their own tracks as well, but nobody seemed to have the bright idea of standardising them. You could try to identify the brand at B& Q, but they are quite expensive to buy. You could try advertising on freecycle locally, as often people have them knocking around the house.

If the curtains are lightweight and the track not too long, it'll probably be cheaper to buy a cheapo replacement track or pole as you'llget the hooks included.
  • Wilkinsons do a good range of hooks or try and find a local haberdashers they do them too
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
