LOL - I've just watched her whilst ironing and decided to get the brayer. The little craft shop by me has them for £9.99 which seems an OK price. Going to try mine with my distress inks. Also I've got the fusible fibres and was told you could only use them on red rubber, but it looks like you can use them with acrylic stamps, so going to have a go!! Also, still umming and arrgghhing over the window stamp set! That lady has alot to answer for:D

    Phew - caught up.

Craftygranny - well done for Kaitlyn's appeal :j Rofl at at some at your town hall stories.

Sorry to hear some of you have been having posts deleted for directing people to your own blogs and homepages. I don't think we have any "business" people who post here, do we (shruggy shoulder thing).

Lol at the idea of a secret mason's code to say "check out my blog" what about the "naughty" smilie :naughty::naughty:

    Thrifty, quietly leaves forum

WBR I have the fibres too got them years ago at a show in Glasgow and have not had too much sucess with them I seen to get the same shade of "burnt" green no matter how cool my iron ( using a travel iron without steam) or the length of time I iron it for. They have been sat in a drawer for a very long time I must have another go :)

I'll let you know how I get on. I have a feeling that it might not go as smoothly as I hope:D

Has anyone else received an email from a company which is gauging interest in doing a giveaway for readers of your blog? I'd normally bin it as spam, but the grammer and spelling are spot on, plus the website seems kosher???

I'm so old every time I see a brayer I remember that was the only way our teachers had to reproduce maps for us to colour in or mark where each town or city was.......often fancied having a 'go' with one, this might be my chance but will need to watch the TV methinks. I reckon all ladies can multi task but I fall down flat at ironing & watching TV ...........I always end up burning my fingers:o so just have to listen to radio.

    Ooooo it's still there!

Just popping on quickly, I have blogged a couple of cards, haven't bothered to put in a link!

ETA what on earth is a brayer? or am I just behind with the times?
