I love your sampler samm, it's such a nice keepsake and looks really well done. I envy your patience for the tiger piece!

sunrise - great black and white cards; my favourite is the one with the feather, it's very stylish.

craftyjuju - how on earth did you fit all of that into one day?! I hope you don't suffer too much for it.

Speaking of suffering, I hope you've stayed in bed rusty, and that you're feeling better for it x

Hugs to everyone else who's suffering x

Right before I post the piccie I'd just like to say really sorry about the size I haven't worked out how to make them smaller yet.

I'd really be grateful for any constructive critiscm as these are my first cards since wedding invites 11 years ago!

Can someone please tell me what you use for sticking the papers to the card blanks. I used one of DS's glue sticks and the page has warped slightly? I have some glue dots but think these would leave little bumps all over and also I seem to be struggling to get them to come off the backing paper, is there a knack?

I will apologise to Thriftyscotlass and The-Wife in advance as ideally these would have arrived through their letterboxes as a surprise but I can't wait so they will see their cards before they get them.

This card was made with supplies very kindly sent to me by Thrifty. I adore the little girl stamps and think I will definately be getting more in the future. I coloured this in at the workshop I went to with Stampin Up pens, they are gorgeous colours but my colouring leaves alot to be desired and at around £25 per pack they don't come cheap. I had fun with some glitter sparkle or something like that on her shoes as I have a soft spot for patent shoes on little girls. The flower was one of many kindly supplied by The-Wife and both the flowers and the card candy are going on my must have shopping list.

This was my quickie card as I suddenly realised that I have a birthday tomorrow that I had forgotten about. The paper and flower on this was supplied by The-Wife, scallop punch done at workshop (another must have), orange jewel sticker from some gorgeous stickers from paperchase, green ribbon Thrifty and the butterfly sticker from Anita stickers I think. Shirley from my Workshop gave them to me as she realised I had a thing for butterflies, think they were out of the latest Docraft bag of goodies.

    And finally ......

    P3080198.jpg

Now this I have to confess is my favourite. It has pink on it AND butterflies, had I been able to put glitter and cupcakes on it then I would have said it was perfect! The butterfly I stamped at the Stampin workshop and coloured there but everything else was supplied by the lovely Thrifty and Wife.

Right I really apologise now as I have rambled on and probably taken up a whole page. I really ought to get a blog but my understanding of such things are about nil so I don't think it's going to happen in a hurry.

Thanks for bearing with my just slightly giddy after my fun afternoon.:j

Samm - That cross stitch of the tiger is wonderful and a lovely heirloom. I did cross stitch years ago and was virtually finished on a project that had taken me nearly 5 years when we had a house fire and I lost it. I was in two minds as to whether or not to start cross stitch up again but went with the card making instead, there most definately isn't time in my life for the two.

Crafty JuJu - I'm exhausted just reading what you have done today let alone by actually doing it! Enjoy your wine!

I love how you've co-ordinated everything Tired Mom, but have to say my favourite is also the bottom one! I love the papers, I've never seen them before.
