Choccy - thanks so much for entering the challenge - your card is lovely - the flowers look so pretty. My prize arrived yesterday - thank you so much - I'd forgotten it was coming so it was a fab surprise.

Artydoll - your forever friends card is fab - I've entered it into the current challenge on here - which was to make a "purple of lilac" card. At the end of the challenge (next Sunday) I'll draw a random winner who'll get a prize! Your other cards are great too - my favourite is the butterfly one.

    Congratualtions to *******!!!!!

Giggle they look fine to me - maybe put a bow or a decoration of some kind for the container. A rosette would look good! You have made some lovely things.

4737558861_abe4ba4e04.jpgA few more card makes on my blog.
Tried doing decoupage, with the help of a free booklet in my craft mag.
I just wish I was younger, and didnt have arthritic fingers, lol.
I'm now a follower of your blog. I'll go back and have a proper read later but I noticed pics of your garden too. I've got a gardening blog so I'll be looking forward to seeing your garden pics. Your FF card is lovely! Is all your decoupage the die cut ones, that will help so you don't have to use little scissors and make intricate cuts. If you want to shape any you can gently "roll" the layers over a pencil or bone folder to do that and using silicone glue will give the finished item a more natural look if it's flowers, say.

Did you say you went to Porthmadog? That is about 45 minutes from us so you should have had the glorious hot weather we had (and again today). There is a kite festival here this weekend, at the moment there's a massive panda, clown, some kind of fish thing with a long tail, plus lots of more normal but colourful kites. Yesterday there was a big yellow elephant up there also some street stuff going on yesterday for Armed Forces Day and the RNLI. The band was very loud and playing some sort of music I don't "get", more shouting than singing, but I there there was a good crowd and it was all for charity.

I spent yesterday in the garden, it's so hot up in the loft where I do my cardmaking and the sun is on that room all day so I need to close the curtains. We'll get some blinds soon, the sort that reflects the sun but lets the light through, so at least I wont be trying to craft with the curtains closed!!!

I know I'm not keeping up very well on here lately so love, hugs and good wishes to everyone, hopefully Blogger is giving me all the updates as I do check those and comment.

I think we're off to Anglesey tomorrow, only a couple of hours away and we've never been before so we're going to see what it's like (besides flat!!! :rotfl: ).

Giggle lovely makes, I really like the butterfly's, clever idea

Supposed to have been doing some gardening but instead I have been eating strawberries and redcurrants from the garden, my lettuce has bolted so am off to buy some more seeds

Managed to get a couple of cards done this morning, OH has invited his brother and partner over for lunch, so am going to buy some bits and chuck it on the BBQ.
