Hi All
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sunshine. Its lovely and sunny here.
I have just found out that they have just opened a home bargains near us, so cant wait to go and see what bargains I can get there!
I went yesterday and got some jungle animal stickers for 29p a pack and they were selling rubber stamps for 19p each! not any particular make but good general stuff, I got a 'thankyou' with a border, some baby feet which will come in handy for baby cards, 3 flowers and a heart with swirls in it. hope you can find some good stuff!0 -

my home bargains had some huge scrapbooks for 3.99 complete with papers and stuff . They had the stamps but not much choice in them and some little paper punches. Kaitlyn got a fab helicopter one.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

My lil one is a bit off colour with very rashy rosy red cheeks, possible slapped cheek or other viral something or other - nurse was very vague this morning.
Tiredmom & Furry, got your bits & bobs packaged up so hope to get them to you soon x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Skiergirl - Hope trips to your parents are on account of builders & not that they are poorly.
Padster - Glad you are feeling a bit better. There aren't many compensations to getting old but not having to cope with that is definitely one of them!! I really suffered.
Rainmac - sorry to hear about LO hope he bounces back quickly.
Addams & Gemma - might divert via Home bargains on my way home - thank you
Rusty - well done on the weight loss. I don't 'do' camping but glad you had a good time. Sorry to hear of bereavements.
Tomsmum - Hope things have settled down with you - even though your neighbour wasn't neighbourly it must still have been a shock!!
As ever, DH waiting for me- best go - back later - sorry if I've missed anyone.

depends how old the child is I suppose - normally for babys you can use the same sort of image you'd use for a new baby card0

DTB - Nice to see you onCan I pick your brains about the viva pearl pen, you said craft den but it links to a blog, I searched and craft barn have no viva pearl pens, are they easy to use? I saw a blog yesterday mention them but said they would be coming soon then saw your post about it!
I have finished the seed packet and I am quite happy with it, just need to blog it!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
sorry Rusty, the blog I linked to belongs to the lady that owns the shop - I'm holding out on buying anymore as she is awaiting a delivery of a 'paper only' version of the pen which should be cheaper than the ones she stocks at the moment (they can be used on fabric etc)
I nipped in on Saturday and she was going to chase them up so I'll let you know when she gets them back in stock. they're really easy to use - just put a drop on the page and let it dry. I wouldn't be without mine - so much cheaper (and less fiddly) than trying to stick individual pearls on.0
