    Hi guys
I've been trawling through all 4 parts of this thread! I was thinking of subscribing to 'Lets make cards', do people think its worth the money for a first time card maker?

rainmac - thankyou for the link to Gemm's card, that pounch is gorgeous :)

Gemm85 - that would be great thanks, I will PM you my details :D your card is gorgeous, I've just left you a message with it.
I would be mad too if the same had happened to me with an order, I can't belaeve they didn't think to get in touch with you at the begining of the week to at least warn you on the delay!

mary-op - oh button necklaces sound good, how do you make those? :)

    THE-WIFE & ali.b.123 - Thankyou :)

Emmabo - Welcome :j Don't worry up until a month ago I too had been a lurker for a long time. I am so glad I joined this forum, everyone is so helpful & supportive :D I too am also new to the world of blogging & am hoping it will spur me on with being crafty. So far I've blogged about my crafts but also about bargins I've found (can't have enough of them!) & days out with Emily as I feel I don't always have the time to craft. Now Emily is nearly 3 I'm hoping to get back into doing lots more :D
I'm now off to look at your blog & stalk...sorry I mean follow you :rotfl:

THE-WIFE - STOP tempting me with more goodies....I must be good & save for the NEC :A
    :wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi Emma -I'm another follower - I love your style. I know there is someone else around here who loves bombshells! Have you seen these cheapy stamps? They are graudally doind larger sizes of all their stamps.

Hi TinyPablo - I'm not sure about that mag. I'd buy one or 2 to get started but wouldn't necessarily go for a subscription - I think you'll probably grow out of their style quite quickly.

Back on here after not being on for 2 days...sooooo much to catch up on - you lot are chatty!! :p

DH has just left for a week and I'm going to have to find find stuff to distract my 32wk-pregnant-self and my two little ones. It's always worse when DH goes away when I'm pregnant.
Think I'll go let the spendy elves in - talk about retail therapy!

Tinypablo - I wouldn't take out a subscription to Let's Make Cards - there's so much you can learn from people's blogs and with the same amount of money you could buy lots of lovely kit :). You can always buy the mag/another one when a particular issue seems very inspiring. Have you seen the Docrafts magazine? It's only £2 and miles better than any of the other mags in my opinion. You can get it at craft stores.

There's another RAK on CP for K & Co Proverbs and Tags.

I've also added in the Selling your Crafts on CP a couple of the Pull-EZ purple ribbon bags I have for sale.

    ** one sold already**

When OH gets up I'll get him to choose a winner for the Feb card swap on CP, apologies to my card and ATC swappers, I am getting there, undergoing a major reorganisation in the craft area.

got lots of ironing to do today and hopefully more sorting of the craftroom. Got a call last night from alicia's mum someone rang her and wants a pink nappy cake for next week .

I'm feeling ill today i have a streaming cold and a sore throat it's been very quiet here i have had no voice lol. The doctor said it's probably because of everything that's been going on it's lowered my immune system and the dreaded lurgy has sneaked in. oops

I'm washing and ironing almost all my sons clothes this week. He goes to london early monday morning for an interview at the american embassy for his visa. Hopefully if everything goes ok he'll be off to live in san francisco in the next week or so with his wife. She's a lovely girl and i'm not at all influenced by the fact she works directly opposite a michaels and sends me little crafty gifts. lol.

Choccie and a craft shop i know a little lady who'll love that idea. Wonder which shop she'll want to visit first. she loves the odd choccie (especially our choccy lol ). She loves card, paper and bling as much as the rest of us . I'm a diabetic so not much choc for me i'm afraid. She'd eat chocolate for breakfast too.
