Sorry liz I cant help you with that as I have a Silhouette Machine which is the same as a Craft Robo. Dawnteabag is the expert on cricut.

Maybe you could email the company and ask about the cable.

    Hello

I'm no expert but I am a big fan of cricuts. The experts are on ukscrappers here .

I have a cricut expression which I bought after borrowing a friends a few times. I wanted to decide whether I would definitely use it enough to make it worth my while and decided I would.

The cricut cuts up to 6x12. The expressions cuts up to 12x24. I chose the expression because I scrapbook on a 12x12 page so technically I could cut out a shaped page. Although I've not actually gotten around to it yet.

I thought of buying from the US - my friend bought hers from there. Custom crops I think - they often have them on sale but decided against because
    1) I was worried about getting stung by customs charges. I wanted to know wxactly what I would be paying.
    2) If something went wrong I wouldn't have a usable guarantee

You would need to buy a new power cable if you bought from the US but from memory, my friend picked one up from ebay for a couple of pound - they''re a standard lead rather than a specific cricut one.

They're really easy to use because they use cartridges rathe than hook up to a pc (altho you can get software that does that if that's what floats your boat).
The downside is the cartridges are pretty pricy new - £60 ish but if you keep an eye on ebay and the marketplace on ukscrappers you can pick them up for £20-£25.

If you want a machine, they do turn up occasionally on the marketplace at ukscrappers - that's where I got mine from second-hand. The smaller cricut also seems to crop up on ebay more - often because people are upgrading to the expression so if you're unsure, maybe go for the smaller one and see if it is what you want. You can use the cartidges on either machine.
Happy to answer any other questions you may have.

Hi everyone, too many pages to catch up on so hugs to all who need them and congratulations to all who have won things.

I've been missing a few days as I've been a bit under the weather again. I'm under a CPN now and they have changed my tablets so hopefully things will start to setle down a bit now. Also I am getting a chance to talk about how my brain doesn't understand that I'm deaf (at least thats the best that I can describe it...). To top it off though I mentioned to my GP that I had a sore wrist and by the end of the consultation he diagnosed arthritis. How come I managed fine before but now my joints all hurt. I did a demo today at a local craft shop and by the end of it I had to strap my wrist again as the pain was too bad. Also as I had been sat all day I can hardly weightbare through my right hip at all for the discomfort. It didn't hurt until the GP mentioned arthritis! (I need a new brain!!!)

Anyway I'm goinga to quit moaning and get on with things. I really enjoyed my demo, although it was quiet proabably due to the high temperatures. It was stiffling in the shop all day.

Apologies for my swap partners from CP who are waiting on stash and ATC. I promise they will go out this week, infact stash swap is waiting in a neat pile to go into envelope and get addressed. Honest I will catchup!

Hugs to all on here, thanks for listening to me rant!

Forgot to mention that my glamsticks fab new walking stick arrived today and it is gorgeous! I chose a purple glitterwings and I'm over the moon with it. I'm supposed to use a stick when my vertigo is bad to try and stop me falling but to be honest I prefer to just not go out when it bad. Now at least I have a fab new stick to show off so I can proudly walk out with it! Yay!
