Whew, im just sitting down I hate hate hate busy days! OH said he needed to go to bournemouth for 9am and he'd treat me to food and craft supplies (which ment up early and scrabbling to get little miss ready for the whole day and the 1hr 30ish drive) so when we actually got there he realized he ment basingstoke  so another hour in the car for a 2 min job. I got food but no craft stuff and a baby who messed through her clothes because of the extra journey and having to stay in it! Bah! I needed to update my blog today, I guess I'll go do that now before something else stops me

    Edit// I blogged :D

Have just about come out from under my cloud - went to the opticians yesterday and he tweaked my lenses apparantly the right one wasn't quite strong enough so was making me feel fuzzy - have new trial lenses and reception is much better now :rotfl:

Thanks for the update Choccy on Rusty. Glad to hear things are slightly better for her.

Sorry you had a bad day Lyndach - maybe you OH is going to surprise you and order whatever you want crafting wise off the net :rotfl:.

Been looking at getting some promarkers, so that I can colour all the lovely images I have been sent through stash swaps, and found a good deal for £25.50 for 20 (is that good?) but am not sure what the colours are like and whether they are too similar. Those who have PMs already do these colours sound OK to get my collection started:

Sandstone, Honeycomb, Mustard, Lime Zest, Pear Green, Cornflower, China Blue, Lavender, Amethyst, Dusky Rose, Poppy, Caramel, Spice, Buttercup, Moss, Apple, Duck Egg, Lilac, Slate, Maroon

Are there any others that would be better.

    Thanks x
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.

Hello everyone, positive thoughts to those that need them, hugs to those who haven't had enough today and :bdaycake:for everyone as you can never have too much :A

Well I still haven't done anything about setting up a blog but I finally have access to my gallery on DoCrafts so if anyone wants to look at some of my stuff I have cards etc on there under NiciRobbie (Robbie is my hearing dog!)
I shall get cracking on a card for Rusty tomorrow morning once I've dropped kids to school and nursery and hopefully will either post it in the afternoon or definitely on saturday morning.
    I'm not normally that organised!
I had a lovely delivery of supplies from MadAboutCards today. I got the boy and girl smirk scrapbook albums as I thought they were sute without being too childish. I'm hoping the kids will want to keep them when they get older! (Actually if they don't take them when they move out they wil inherit and will be forced to take them - hah hah hah!)
Also bought one of their £5 goody bags which came with loads of stuff. Beads, sequins, stickers, ribons, all very exciting. I ordered 4 nellie snellon long handled punches to try with thread decoration. I'm not usually keen on anything that involved sewing but this is more winding thread so hopefully I'll be able to give it a proper go...
Right I shall be off now before the spendy elves escape again. (I'm already waiting on a parcel from pondskipper - thanks to whoever put the link on here, I hadn't shopped with them before and boy did the spendy elves escape big time!!!) Oooops x
  • I think thats a good price Cheapest ive found is £1.50 each but i will PM you in a mo ;)

Slate is a very dark grey. Some people go around the image in Cool grey 1 as it makes it pop out more. But a very good selection of colours i think xx

Just thought i'd post you a quick pic of the girls jessica marie is on the left as you look at it and sophie mai on the right . By the way they aren't actually my grandchildren but they are my grandchildrens sisters if you know what i mean. But their mum said they'll be calling me grandma the same as the others. Just getting the mountain of goodies together we bought for them. They went home this afternoon.

I'm stuggling to use my MS Scoreboard, possibly because I am left handed, but I am having trouble with scoring without moving over to the next groove, and therefore can't get a straight line, if you see what I mean. Does anyone have any tips or is there a knack to it, at the moment I have tried using a ruler too, but am getting fed up counting the groove on top and bottom to make sure the line is straight - it must be easier than I am making it :o. Also am I the only one who thinks the scorer that it comes with is a bit flimsy, I apppear to have flattened it already and have only tried it out about 5 times.

Also if I want to try and make a box, what kind of card are people using. My card here tends to be really thin, to go through the craft robo, so the box I've tried is quite flimsy.
CT I am left handed as well and I find if you just go slowly, it will stay straight. I did have the same problem at the beginning though :) For boxes & bags, I am just using Bazzill card.

I have my card made for Rusty but my camera battery is charging so I will post it on my blog tonight.
Sweet Baby Cakes- It sounds like you have a busy time ahead of you!!
Craftygranny - Congratulations on the new additions to your family. Beautiful picture.
    Sylphraven - Happy Birthday!

Good choice of colours but some skin colours would be good if you don't already have them . I use blush a lot.
