  • Congratulations Padster :j

SallyUK Huge hugs to you. Unbelievable. Remember to try to be good to yourself during this incredibly stressful time. Hope the kids are doing ok. Sounds like he has a lot of Narcissistic personality traits – it's me, me, me all the time without a thought of the damage that he is causing others.
Flourgirl – hope all goes well for your Mum
Rainmac – sorry the car's on the blink :(

    Bunbun – that's not good :(

Louby – sometimes those baby groups are hard work if you don't know anyone (I remember feeling like billy-no-mates on many occasions). Give it a few more visits, sometimes things get easier as your face becomes more familiar.
Dragonllew congrats on your win. Hope your back eases soon.
Huge hugs to all who need or would like one.

For those that need a giggle, picture Thrifty walking down the street; evil pidgeon on top of lamppost (unseen by Thrifty); aim - fire - bullseye. When you see Northwest news tonight with woman on the Isle of Man going on a rampage taking potshots at pidgeons, you can all nod sagely and go, yip, know her, she likes to make cards :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Bunbun2 - your "wings" card is fab - love the nesties labels die cuts!!

PepPop - Really cute card - I've never seen that Tilda image before.

Chocolate.orange - thanks for asking - Elliot seems a lot better now! His two front teeth are steadily growing - he looks so cute when he smiles. He's at that horror stage now where he's crawling around everywhere trying to grab things he shouldn't. I've put in an order for a high chair from my catalogue so I can sit him in it and get a bit of peace.

    Paddingtondoo - congratulations!!!!!

Wanna-B - your karate card is great - that red backing paper is fab!

Louby-Lou-Lou - your tilda card is so pretty - love the purple! Your chocolate cake looks delicious!

    Mad-Frog - no problem!

Dragonflew - congrats on your win!
  • Just a quickie - looks like some spam has been sent from my email address. If you get an email from me entitled "Re:Look" please delete it as is it not from me and is spam. AOL were supposed to have sorted this out, but obviously they haven't! Sorry to anyone affected.

Thank again to all you lovely ladies for taking the time to reply.

I know it's not card making and I'm sorry to take the focus away from card talk - you're all really patient letting me sound off on here.

I was feeling rather down on Friday, but I owe it to the kids to keep going.

I couldn't even afford to pay £10 for a new pair of jeans for my son at the weekend - that's how bad things are here now.

Hi all, just popping in quickly to say hi and congrats to all of those who have won things, so many pages to catch up on but can't remember who did what, or said what etc!

Started Cambridge diet today, all I can say is I am hungry! :rotfl: still got a shake to go tonight! OH gets the extra meal though :( ... I have had the doctor out here today, last night I was in agony, so much so that it took me 30 mins to crawl up the stairs on my hands and knees, OH had to move my bag leg cause I was too scared of the pain! Doc came out and nothing they can do, I am already on too many painkillers and also the strongest dosages I can have! got to wait for a referral to have another needle in my spine so sorry if I ignore anyone or don't get on here, I have spent the day in bed, this is the first time I have come downstairs!

Sending hugs to anyone who needs them! x
