Morning everyone!
DD's eye is a lot better today, however having had pnemonia again over last 2 weeks, I was left with a chesty cough and I have now lost my voice (I will have to make up for it and talk lots on here instead) To top it off there are major arguments over parking in our road and one of the neighbours starting laying into me after I asked her daughter nicely not to park in front of our drive. I am sick of the situation now I wish we could just move house, but that is not likely in the next year. Why are people so inconsiderate?
Hope everyone else and their little uns are feeling better today. Roll on warm weather I say!0 -
Crafty_JuJu wrote: »Does anyone know wheres best to buy paper in bulk? I'm after the deep purple in paper for the insert pagers, oh in white too. Also is there a best place to buy 'peel off stickers', I'm after 'Wedding Invitation/Invites' style ones in silver. Also card stock? So sorry for all the questions but I know all you ladies are brill ith knowing the best places to go
Thankyou so so much x
For your white paper JuJu, you can get some lovely paper from Tesco. Their Finest Premium Quality printer paper, 120gsm, 250 sheets, is brilliant, I print all my backing papers on that.
Or Tesco Extra White Inkjet Paper, 90gsm, 500 sheets is excellent for inserts.
Sorry, can't help with purple paper as I've never bought coloured paper and it's so long since I bought card stock from anywhere other than our local printers (except Craftwork Cards for the digi image card).0 -

Another question...sorry....my friend said she'd seen these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-BUTTERFLY-NAME-CARDS-PLACE-SETTING-TABLE-DECORATIONS_W0QQitemZ400083776071QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Home_Garden_Celebrations_Occasions_ET?var=&hash=item9bff2075f7 Butterfly name cards for glasses & was thinking of something like this for her table pleace settings. My question now is does anyone know where you can get a punch bigger than the one I'm using for the cards?? Thankyouxx
P.s Is the Martha Stewart one bigger? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Martha-Stewart-Large-Monarch-Butterfly-Punch_W0QQitemZ260582242428QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Crafts_Cardmaking_Scrapbooking_DieCutting_Punches_EH?hash=item3cabe9787c
My only thoughts with that one would be buy die cuts butterflys and use them? I wouldn't have thought that a punch would be big enough but without having access to something like a cuttlebug then it may not be possible? plus diecuts would be cheaper that buying a punch and also gives you more time to play? has she given you an idea of how much she is looking to spend? or have you thought about how much you will charge?Good morning everyone. We have another nice day but cool, hope you're all having good weather. All the children should be back at school now, you mums can catch your breath and maybe find a bit of time for crafting.
I hope all the poorlies are feeling better. Rusty - hopefully your abcess is no longer troubling you, you certainly went through a rough time with that.
CraftyJuJu - well done on your wedding invite order, I love the one that has been chosen.
Well, at last my Craftwork Cards order arrived this morning :T. I'm so pleased as I'd run out of cards to print my digi images and was scratching around for offcuts that would go through the printer . I did email last week and they said the delay was caused by a move to new premises. I got another email on Saturday to say it had been despatched. Inside my parcel was a letter of apology and to make up for the delay they've given me a £7.50 credit towards my next order. It's taken from the 7th April so a fair while, the only gripe I have is that perhaps they could have emailed to let customers know of the delay, but they've been more than fair as an apology would have been enough but the credit is very welcome!
I'm on my own today, OH has his fortnightly hospital check up, my friend's coming for a cuppa, I've just got to give the kitchen it's weekly spruce up and then the day's my own. I have a feeling I might be printing some images :rotfl: .
Have a good day everyone.
~DD seems to be over the sickness but I think she has another infection as she is forever on the toilet and is very sore bless her, have her booked into the doctors today at 1:30 so I guess I will find out then. As for the abcess, I am over the pain but still have a small lump in the roof of my mouth, Dentist says that should go on its own and if it hasn't by my next appointment which is in May then he will have to look at it :eek:Crafty_JuJu wrote: »Its not fairjust had a look to see where the nearest one is to me & its in Manchester, 40 miles away  I know for some thats not far but its prob be cheaper for me to have them deliver it....if they do!
I am pretty sure they do deliver, although not sure what options are there paper/card wise. Have a look on their website. - http://papermilldirect.co.uk/
However it may well be worth buying their jumbo box which is about £35 and you can choose upto 5 colours.

Sorry but I really wouldn't recommend using this company. I placed and paid for an order from these of a couple of different things, one being the envelopes which say wedding all over them. 1 week later and nothing had been delivered, 10 days later I get a phone call telling me that the item was out of stock and had been discontinued, I was annoyed because it had taken them so long to contact me to tell me it was out of stock!! It also took nearly 3 weeks to get a refund and lots of phone calls to hassle them to return my money!
Now I shall sit back and await the onslaught from someone who is friends with someone who owns this company :rotfl:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

They do Ju Ju it's about £5.99 but buy as much as you can to make it worth while. Check the site out in case they have any specials, mine's about 40 miles away too and I can't be bothered to spend more than that in petrol and in time. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
