Rusty - we always have a clearance section on the site, we also do a bulk buy on Herma, Bazzill cardstock and of course the ProMarkers. We also have sales on quite often

If anyone is in Scotland - we have booked a stall at the Hobbycrafts show in October at the SECC. This will be our first one! I will be demo-ing ProMarkers, Ladybug Crafts stamps and Mica sprays and I will have a few Tando Creative samples that I have decorated

I am tempted to do Glasgow instead of NEC this year, need to work out logistics etc!! :) will come and say hello if I do go there though :)

Hello all - attempting to have a wine and de-stress. Have to catch a flight tomorrow and have had a nightmare with my e-ticket. Resolved now but its stole 5 hours of my Sunday. Have promised "&son" that I will print some digi stamps for us to colour on the train so am now trying to find some boy-friendly ones at short notice.
Hope all those who went to Ally Pally had a lovely time.
Hugs to all who need them
    x

Please check your emails asap as I have sent about 10-15 digi stamps I had which you may find ok for &son, I sent some which I thought would be ok for boys but not really sure what he likes! x

Rainmac - Hope you and DS feel better soon xxxxx sending magic hugs to wish away the pain!

Wishful comper - please post your pics, you are always welcome to come visit and craft over here anytime you want, I can provide coffee, tea and maybe even biscuits! :rotfl: You should see my first cards, they were awful!!

I spotted a post in blogland earlier on, it is a book which you actually have to follow the instructions to destroy it!! .... OH has purchased one for me to have a play¬!! I also fell off the bandwagon and got myself a lovely new stamp!! ... I appear to have an obsession with tree style stamps. Rainmac - you have bought a crafty individual stamp before, do you have mount on the back? or did it come with it? or was it a wooden stamp?

  • Marg huge thank you for the list. It arrived yesterday but i've been at my boyfriends all weekend...

Rainmac sorry to hear you have ear ache - I hate getting that and always end up make it 10 times worse by playing with it trying to unblock it lol!

Hmm well after some research earlier, Cuttlebug are bringing out extra long 15" x 5" B plates only which will be compatible with Sizzix. I found them for about £22.99 on pre-order though I've since decided that I NEED a Craft Robo instead after playing with OH's Mums lol :D

    xx
  • Hiya - my goodness loads of pages to catch up on!!!!

Well I had a nice day out at the Ally Pally yesterday. Didn't get back home till 9.30pm so was too tired to post!!!

I don't think I could have managed the NEC as I found this too crowded and I don't do crowds very well!!!! There was some lovely stuff there although not that cheap I still managed to spend my money!! I saw the MS Scoring Board there for £19.99!!!!!! It was lovely to meet The-Wife and Whoopidoo (I have put photos of what I bought on my blog!!

I have been playing with a lovely new stamp I bought for a bargainlicious £1.50 yesterday. I used a new Distress Ink with a blending tool and I am really pleased with the result. Will keep the image and make a card with it. I have also been testing out my Peerless Watercolour Papers today with some stamped images and I absolutely love them. They are so easy to use and you can get a variety of shades and tones from one colour. I've put some pics on my blog!

Rusty - hope you abscess is less painful today.
lei-armstrong - hope your neck is feeling better.
Hogshead - lovely cards, very pretty colours.
Popkins - hope you enjoyed Ally Pally today and bought lots of nice things.
THE-WIFE - yes got home ok. I went to visit a friend in Turnpike Lane after the Ally Pally!! I reached home around 9.15pm. Great to meet you!!
JHB - I have the blending tool from the US but it came with felt pads so yesterday at Ally Pally I bought a sheet of Cut-N-Dry Stamp Pad Foam for £4.25. I have some stick on velco so I have cut out a pad and attached to my blending tool with the velco and it is fine. Much cheaper way than buying the pack of foam pads as I think they were £4.70 for around 8 pads!!!! I should be able to get many more than this out of the sheet I bought! Whoopidoo gave me the idea!!!
wanna-b-rich - Thanks for the dress template link, some nice handbag templates also.

Phew - I feel exhausted reading so many pages!!!! LOL!!!!!

That book sounds fab!!! Let us know how you get on won't you ;)

The Crafty Individuals stamp I bought was unmounted red rubber but to be honest I am lazy and just added glue and whacked it on a stamp block rather than adding mouting foam. It stamped fine. I ordered direct from Crafty Individuals and got a freebie set of stamps. Quick delivery too. You've reminded me, I haven't used that stamp for AGES, maybe time for another play :)

My ear seems a bit better today. DS1 is still asleep so the jury's out on him. The weather looks rather carp - dull and windy. Not really conducive with a day at the park and a picnic :(

For anyone who's said they think the joy fold card looks difficult, it's so so easy, honest, you just make 2 cards and stick the smaller one onto the bigger one. This tutorial is fab - the measurements for the 2 peices of 23/4 x 4 should read 23/4 x 33/4. Rusty made a joy fold card here, it's brilliant xxx

  • Morning all. Well I have spent most of the weekend in bed trying to rest and feel a bit better today. I am still very weak though and my chest is still painful if I breathe in too deep or when i cough, but hopefully starting to make some progress. Glad those that went to Ally Pally yesterday/saturday enjoyed it and got a few nice things.

Big thank you to Marg, I got my list on Saturday.

Anyway only a flying visit this morning but thought some of you might find these digital freebies useful. There is a couple of freebies here an unusual one here and another here

    Morning all :)

The skys are a lovely shade of blue and the sun has got his hat on!! Hip hip hip horay! :D

Sorry I think the tablets are making me slightly crazy! :rotfl:

Just wanted to pop on and say I have good news for tiredmom, choccy and Lei! I have found the missing stamps, they had fallen off the table and into a box which had been covered over with a sheet of paper! Anyway they have been found so will try and get them in the post later on!!

Rainmac - I like your tutorial, I had no idea what the style of card was called so just tried to make my own by looking at pictures of other peoples :rotfl: Possibly why I struggled to get it to look nice!! Yours are beautiful as always! I ordered direct frmo crafty individuals and also got some lovely little hanging frames, not sure what I will do with them yet but hopefully may alter them somehow!! I ordered this stamp!

I have 150 evening invites to trim and get the woman to pick them up today but have flung open the back door and the patio door and will sit in the door way and trim them! Hope everyone has a good day, I will blog hop later hopefully!

Can I just ask has anyone seen a new home freebie image that they could point me in the direction of please? My mum is moving in with her boyfriend on 1st of May and I am thinking of making a towel cake for them and making a card but I have no image to use I have found some beautiful digis on I think stitchy bear stamps so may end up spending my money!
