Just done Tesco's with two children in tow, what joy!

Rusty - Flourgirl actually came up with the same suggestion that popped in my head i.e the freezer. Don't worry about them from our point of view they will turn up, but I can just imagine how frustrated you are. As I say to my children though "Are you looking with Mommy eyes or Daddy eyes?"

Flourgirl - That notebook is gorgeous on that blog.

Lei - The dispenser was certainly worth it when you consider how much people will pay for a bespoke item.

Paddinton - I know you are being sent a chart but here is a link to one I think in case you need one if future.

    CONGRATULATIONS to .................

Popped into Quality Save before Tesco's and had to buy this.

It cost 99p which I thought was too much of a bargain to pass by. I can't see me using it much so if anyone would really like it do holler otherwise remember I have it if you ever need any baby bottles cut out in a particular colour. The bottle measures about 2cm tall.

Right off to try and find lounge floor again DD has her birthday presents everywhere and has just emptied all her Polly Pockets out as well .

Thanks Dragon (have PM'd you) and Tired Mom - the letraset site crashes my lappy for some reason hence the plea :o

Just back from the dentist - knew I needed a filling redoing :( - don't think I've had one for about 6 years so have to go back to have it done. You're going to think me mad but think I was undercharged - check up, clean, 2 xrays and the filling £52 and I'm private - maybe I got like a no work discount for being such a good customer :rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for the info wifey will have a look at Mels blog and see what she suggests - have to spend my dentist saving on something :A

Just popping on quickly from work - my colleague gave me £50 for the sweetie dispenser  I was gobsmacked but really chuffed! Tried giving him some back as thought it was too much but he wouldn't accept it. He loved it though and is now keeping it for himself rather than giving it as a birthday present lol x
Aww don't stress Rusty - there's no rush and sod's law is that they'll turn up when you least expect it or stop looking for them! x

Wow well done, that was an impressive amount and well worth the sticking on of Gems!! It really was beautiful you did such a good job!

    Well done to THE-WIFE!! :j :j :j I have sent you a PM aswell :)

Well, I've had a little play with my PMs and I can see why you all rave about them! Early days yet and I need some practice but I'm very impressed with them.

Rusty You could ask St. Antony to help you with your lost item. "St Antony, St Antony, come on down, something's lost and needs to be found". Apparently it works - you'll have to let me know!

The Wife Well done and congratulations, your card is lovely!

Lei Fantastic! I'm so pleased he thought so highly of your sweet dispenser and was happy to pay such a great price.

Paddington My recent trip to the dentist cost £60 for a check up and replacing a tiny filling that had come out, didn't even need to drill or do any prep work and we're in N.Wales where things aren't supposed to be quite so expensive! So you did well to only pay £52 for all that!

MummyandPaige  Welcome. I used to have an outlet for my cards (we had a restaurant and I sold quite a few in there) but now I'm retired I don't have an outlet so only make for friends and family but I'm building up a bit of a stock now so there's always some to hand if I need one quickly.

I'm not sure I'll get around to entering OAP's challenge now, I've got a fairly busy day tomorrow and I haven't even thought about what card to do yet :o.

Sorry if I've missed anyone out, must dash - it smells like the jacket potatoes are ready!

Hiya everyone - had a lovely sleep last night so hopefully will soon be back to normal.

lei_armstrong - wow what a lovely surprise to get paid £50 for the sweet dispenser!! I'm not surprised that you are chuffed but it did look brilliant though so well earned!

THE-WIFE congratulations on your win, well done!!

OAP1945 - LOL at the name of the show your OH is taking you to!!!!

Tired Mom - that punch was abit of a bargain!!! Do they have some craft reductions in Tesco then. I went at the weekend but my store had nothing like this!!

Rusty - have you tried looking in the childrens toy box or in their bedrooms for the stamps. Kids can be like magpies and have a habit of hiding things and forgetting the hid them!!!!

Still busy sorting my craft stuff out into containers. I now have all of my punches in one container together, stamps and ink pads in another and glues, foam pads, glue gun etc in another. I'm finding things that I had forgotten I had bought so this is a good exercise!!!!

Was nice and sunny most of today although it did rain late afternoon!! Hope everyone has had some sun today!

Tesco didn't have any reductions really even the Easter stuff wasn't vastly reduced. The punch was from Quality Save. According to the price details they obviously had had different ones as it stated assorted but the only ones they had left were 4 of the baby bottle ones. Thought it was too good to pass.

Glad to hear sleep is happening more when it is supposed to.

MummyandPaige - I forgot to say welcome on my earlier post, sorry.

Congratulations wifey! It's a much deserved win, your makes were gorgeous. :) I'm sure you'll more than hold your own on the DT. ;)
Wow Leia, £50! It's good that some people appreciate the effort that goes into handmade pieces, and it really was gorgeous. :)
    Welcome Mummyandpaige. :)

I've been popping in and out and reading posts, but can't remember if there's anything else I should be commenting on! I've been busy playing with felt this week, and have made a couple of keyring/bag charms and a brooch. I've also made my challenge card, but my friend still has my camera so I can't post pics yet. I must try to remember to fetch it from her tomorrow.
I've also assembled my treadmill today - it's been sat in its box in the garage for I don't know how many years! I'm determined to lose weight this year and get fit.
Oh, and by the way, can some of you lovely ladies send the sun to Coventry please? It was nice on Sunday, but it's been gloomy here ever since. :(
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
