I have just updated my you know what, if you fancy a nosey.

    Happy belated birthday Giggles

Can anyone tell me where the best place to buy glossy accents from is please?

    Thanks in advance xx
  • Marg I'm glad it got there eventually . They didn't try and charge you extra did they ? I posted six items on the same day and had them checked at the po. 4 got there next day , 1 got there on monday and they had to pay 1p + 1.00 as it was classed underpaid but i'd had it checked so i've complained. wonder if the postie had it on his mantle for over a week lol.

Craftygranny - Ouch! ! wan't going to say anything but yes they did make me pay the B*****ds. Complain away! Mind you, while I was waiting to pick it up the girl in front of me had missed the postman who was still out on his round with her parcel. As she pleaded with the man behind the counter he phoned up the Postie and they arranged to meet so she could get it off him! So I gave them a brownie point...........the girl was young & attractive - not sure they would have done the same for me:rotfl::rotfl:
  • Hi Everyone
Its little old exhausted me - I have been reading in the week with the intention of adding one long post but you guessed it I have forgotten most that I have read - my head is buzzing so much going on ,the extension has been started ,an old bathroom ripped, out tons of stuff ordered, lots of dust builders in and out but guess what in admist of all the rubble and noise this afternoon I sat and made a card which I shall pop on my bl*g later. We stripped the lounge yesterday and we are having a new window fitted next week and the ceiling plastered and electrics moved so we hope by next weekend to have at least one room finished.
Love and hugs to you all
    xx

PONR - OH didnt say a thing about my hair when I got in! Typical! I like it though!

Choccy - It was a bit windy, but I think it survived!

But on the bonus side, my Helix craft room arrived! Great fun having a play. I also got the fiskars shape cutter off ebay arrive, so I got to have a play with those templates that the wife gave me (thanks very much!) Hopefully you will see some cards soon using some of it. The only thing the craft room didnt have was a cutting mat, but I used one I already had that fitted fine.

Tomsmom - I know what you mean about late nights. Anything past 11pm is late! After midnight and its falling asleep time!

Glittermum - hope you had a nice lunch

Marg - Hair done every day, wouldn't that be bliss!

KMS - thanks for the freebie, very cute

Scatty -Sounds like you are in builders hell! At least you managed to make a card, well done.

I was thinking about all this stuff I've been buying, I started this making cards lark to save money on all those brought cards, but it doesnt work like that does it! Oh well, at least I'm having fun!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Glad you liked your hair, your OH might notice in a few days!!!!

I have a shape cutter and once you've got the hang of it they are great. Make sure you have the stencil the right way round though as it makes a difference!

I had a phonecall yesterday to say my Cuttlebug has arrived in the shop so I am off today to collect it. I bought a couplle of dies yesterday as they were 40% off the price so I can test the Bug out when I bring it back. Also got a spare set of cutting mats as they were also 40% off so much cheaper!! Just have to make a small online order now to get the thin cutting mat to use with the nesties - I am going to order a other set of nesties as they are on offer online for about £12.xx which sounds cheap and they are new styles I think.

    Hope everyone is ok x
