Thanks for the help re wallpaper/screensavers. Read aloud it seems very obv but I couldn't get going this AM at all. had to leave the PC as I was having trouble downloading a font only to realise I never clicked 1 damn command. Went back to it tonight & saw it immediately.
card is done. Very simple but DS will just love it, all that counts.

Re lightening the PP papers I will have to give that a go another day.
I have a poorly car & have to walk/cycle the school run, a tad saddle sore!!!

Wwell done to all our winners & hugs to our poorly, down in the dumps peeps. Hope things are on the up very soon.

How's your foot, hope it's feeling better x Any bargains today?

Hiya - foot has been alot better thanks. I used some corn plasters and took the top of and it has been pain free for over a week!!!

I am just off out to Joann's - funny you should ask lol!!! I was also browsing their website to make another order for some dies and spare bug cutting mats!!

I packed everything into my bags yesterday to give me an idea of how much space I have left!! I think I should be able to get the bug in a small rucksack!!!:rotfl:

I have also bought myself this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230525759081&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Can't wait for it to arrive :T:T:T

    Ooh!

Today I bought this. Sssh...don't tell Mr Fresian :D

I have made another two cards this evening, but won't blog them yet. They are for two people I know from the DFW forums and I don't want them to find them on the internet before they are received!

KMS - hope the weigh in went ok yesterday

Rusty - glad the tooth/gums are feeling better. I have looked at copics before and have been very tempted. I'm not very good at blending with promarkers! Your new stash sounds great, have fun playing!

The wife - Ouch, that sounds nasty, hope it feels better soon.

Mummyslittleboy - hope it doesnt take too long for your bigshot to arrive. Those dies look lovely, looks like you have an alphabet there too!

Flying-fresian - All those lovely promarkers! The green monster is rearing his head again!! Hope you enjoy them when they arrive.

Hope everyone has a good day. Hugs to all. xx

    Hi
thanks to everyone for leaving comments on my bl*g, so lovely to read them

freesian have fun with your colouring in :) what a good purchase

mummyslittleboy have fun with your new diecutting machine. For stampin I would recommend going to a workshop or demonstration. I think stamping is actually quite difficult. Maybe you could go to a local craft shop and ask for help.

Wife I hope your elbow gets better - I think I would quite like to smack Barbara Windsor after those annoying bingo ads!

Rusty welcome to the copic gang. I love 'em for the blending. I used to watercolour my images so it was the best transition for me.

    Morning all!

If anyone is in Edinburgh there is a little craft shop on Slateford Road that I have been meaning to check out. They are doing cardmaking classes in October and I wondered if anyone was planning on going?
  • Morning all. KMS how did you get on?

Flying fresian - wow what a bargain for those Promarkers. I never thought of checking ebay. I might have a look later. I need some more.

Mummys little boy. The bigshot is in Birmingham, are you local? I love all the diecuts you're going to get, and what another brilliant bargain.

    Hi all,

Well the dreaded weigh in came and i am really disappointed as i only lost 3lb! :( I know it is still a loss but i thought i had lost more. But i found out last night that my anti depressants cause weight gain!

Anyway i hope everyone is feeling better today.

Elysia - when you check out ebay put in all forms of spellings for promarkers i.e pro markers, promarker etc I have found a few good bargains like this because people spell them wrong :D

I ordered 10!!! :D yesterday from Joanna Sheen but forgot my dusky pink! If any one would like to donate one all donations are greatly received! :rotfl:

My stickles came today along with a couple of blank card sets i had ordered. I don't mean to sound dumb but is stickles just glitter glue or does it do something else? Also i have seen people use glossy accents, what do these do? :o

Right i am off on a blog hop see you soon :A
  • Glossy accents give a wet look, like it's shiny and stickles is just glitter glue, it's just that it comes out in a very fine line and dries quite flat.

Thanks for the tip on Promarkers - I'm just going to look.
