Hello card makers, I am after some advice
I am trying to buy online some bits to start my Christmas cards and I don't know what the paper is called, that looks like handmade paper with a sort of grain in it and then you tear round the edges so it looks 'designed'.
Not sure if that is clearer than mud but do you know what I mean, where it then has a feather sort of edge to it where you tore it?
If anyone can decipher that and tell me what it is called I would be grateful :rotfl:0 -

Hi
Do you mean like a mulberry paper? Alot of the handmade Japanese papers have this effect when torn. You could try searching on ebay for some. I think it is called Washi - like a tissue paper made up of fibres which would look good when torn. The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Hello to the Newbies and hugs to the poorlies
Thrifty is so good to see you posting again
Scatty try a massive de clutter then you don't have so much to pack and just think in 2 weeks you will be UNpacking in your new home.
Crafty granny thinking of you and yours (hugs)
I am going to be in Plymouth for the next few weeks house/teenager sitting, so anyone down that part of the country know any good craft shops/shows around. I will be flying down so cant take much crafting stuff with me so will need a "fix" of some sort.
Is it just me or is Blogger still playing up I don't seem to be getting my reading list updated correctly at all.
Hi everyone,
OAP down here we have the Range, Chaplins and Just Traceys which are in Plymouth itself, the only craft show we have going on this way is the hobby and stitch show in Exeter 23 - 26 September, ohh and there is a little stamp place in the pannier market and wilkinsons sell a little bit of create and craft stuff,
Sorry about being a rubbish poster at the moment, but I'm sending cyberhugs to all that need them congratulations to all our winners and a big hello to everyone else, I went to my first crop today and it was lovely I made 8 cards and chatted a lot ( which is not unusual for me ) but i am shattered now, Andy has been on nights and I just do now sleep well if he is not here,

Hello Ladies.
Can anyone help: There was a card mag last month that had freebie papers in of owls & backing papers to match. Does anyone know what it was called as I'd like to get a back copy if possible.
Thanks0 -
Does anyone use a craft shop in Derbyshire?
I only know of the one in the eagle centre market in Derby and would love to know of others you may recommend.
I travel all over the County for work so anywhere in Derbyshire would be great :beer:0 -
