  • Thanks for all the good wishes, I was already recovering from an accident in April so I am feeling extra sorry for myself!!! Marg- I ment to say having cystitis is what got me hooked on card making in the first place, it was the only thing that would distract me from the pain!

I have updated my blog! Thanks for all the lovely comments so far :)
Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!

  • Thank you Dragonlew, much appreciated (no rush though, just whenever you get a minute), let me know what I owe you. x

LOL about your ribbons - I sat and sorted through mine the other day as they were all over the place in bags and envelopes and I found I have three big boxes of them:eek: I'd forgotton about the huge bundle I won from Crafty Ribbons, plus all the challenge ribbons and the bundle I bought in the sale - not bad for someone who rarely uses ribbon on cards!

I'm try to do DS's card and it's driving me nuts - I HATE mens and boys cards!! Worse thing is he's asked if I'm gonna make him a special card like I did for his sister - so there's no getting out of it!

CT19720 - Thanks so much. Have a lovely break. I hope the weather stays dry for you.

Jellybaby - I hope your whiplash settles down soon. I've never had it but my Mum has. It's awful!

Flourgirl - You have a pm. I'm really, really glad you liked the papers - I was so worried you'd hate them.

I have read all the days posts, but I should have wrote notes, there's so much to remember, so I'll just wish everyone a nice evening. Take care xxx

Thankyou. I have put the card on my crafty corner ;) You said the papers were Cosmo Cricket, you don't happen to know which collection do you. please :)

Off topic: Does anyone do ancestry at all? DD would like to look into it & I am unsure which is best to buy online. We nipped into the library today which is free but would prefer to do it all from home. I'd appreciate any helpful advice, pm me if you'd prefer to avoid going off topic here. Thanks

I've been doing it a few years now, using genesreunited, though you do have to pay to search but I think it is worth it, and I have found a lot of distant relatives! The same goes for ancestry.
However, you can do free searching at FREEBMD, though it is very limited.
Obviously these records do not contain ALL the info needed, and you will need to order BMD certificates for in-depth info, from GRO.

Back on topic, I made a new card but it's not in the usual place yet as it's to be sent out, once that person has got it then I will b*** it

  • KMS,
The dies used for the bah humbug were nestabilities lables 8, the font was called candy stripe and printed on the computer 4 to a page
The dec 25th stamp was a freebie, i cut it out with a circle punch then mounted it on a scalloped circle punch (from Stampin up)
all my litttle boxes from last year are cut using bigz XL dies, this year i have a big shot pro so may get a box die or 2 for that!

ALL - I am going to try and get some more magnetic foam from HC, i will post when i have got some so i know how much i have and see if anyone wants some still x
