Beautiful cards on your blogs Glittermum and rainmac.

I'm just about to post a card up on my blog and I want to credit one of our forum members with the inspiration, I have used a Clarity stamp of a lady in 40/50's dress. (Back view long pleated coat dress, high heels) Please let me know who you are so that I can link back to your blog, that's if you don't mind.

Hello everyone, we had a great day at my brother's yesterday :D. They loved the elephant toy I bought. We got back about 11pm last night so we're all a bit tired today. Off to see OH's brother today who has just moved into his first place (he's 33 so about time!). Got shopping and ironing to do later. Haven't managed to catch up on here yet, hope everyone's ok xxx

Glittermum, have a great holiday, hope you find some shorts! We passed through your neck of the woods on the way to Bath yesterday x

Thewife, thank you, been meaning to blog those cards for a few days ;)

Artydoll , just wanted to say a huge thank you for the beautiful gift you sent me it's fab . I've had my daughters children all day as they move house tomorrow. Carly was my assistant and couldn't get the paper off fast enough. Then she sat stroking it shouting oh wow oh wow. when i asked if i could look she said it's carly carly's . She sat next to me and sat with it over her for ages she doesn't normally sit still .
She went to a beach party this afternoon and took it with her lol. when she came back she used it on her and Kaitlyn and kobie . I thought i might have got it back when she went home but she hid it under her brothers pram and her mum said she took it up to bed with her and was fast asleep snuggling it. bless her. I have some pics of them this afternoon i'll blog them later on.

I,m so glad you and Carly liked my little throw,I sent the softest one I had, its made from a Sirdar yarn which contains real silk thats why its so soft and drapey.
I made loads of throws and blankets last winter,My spare room is full of them,I cant give them away, lol, all my kids have had their picks.
    Hugs to You and Carly.
    xx

thanks for posting this Marg, the ribbons are fab this time so I've emailed them and got in too :j never done one for them before so excited, plus I get some new ribbon to play with that I havent had to buy! still on my stash ban...it's getting rather difficult now though! I am just trying to focus on what I'll be able to buy in Vegas and how much cheaper it will be!

work still havent gotten back to me about a leaving date, I put in a request to my HR department to leave on the 30th September and despite saying they would get back to me by the end of last week I heard nothing. will chase it up next week, I dont want to be too demanding and rock the boat too much though in case they say I'll have to stay longer than I want to!
