Just popping in. Have managed to do a few cards - just need to blog them.

Having a break from going to see MIL, as I have been to hospital to have a root injection for the pain from my slipped disc. Suffering a bit with more pain and a stiff neck now though:(

Rusty - think there is a Rymans in Eldon Square :)

Oh no, please look after yourself, that sounds awful xxx

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been on for a bit. I've bought myself a new notepad as dh needed the laptop more and more for taking away on business. I've managed to set it up and get it connecting to the wireless network so I'm actually quite proud of myself. Only problem is none of my bookmarked websites are on it so I've got to go through and do that again.
I was demonstrating on saturday for DoCrafts which was great fun. Really busy day with no chance for breaks but I really didn't mind. Its great to spend a day sitting card making and not feel guilty, lol. Some of cards I made I liked too much to leave as samples so I had to bring them home. Bit naughty as i guess I should leave the best ones at the store to sell the products better but when you really like them its so hard to part with some of them!
I haven't been onto CP yet to find out my swap partners for the stash swap or the ATC. If its anyone on here could they pm on here please? I've got the stash swap bag all packed ready, justneed to address it to someone. Haven't done my feather atc yet although I've got an idea in my head I want to try.
Take care to all, I've missed you all while I've been unconnected!

    Evening all

Rainmac - Great success with the fund raising. It is always worth the hardwork when you hear those sorts of amounts.

Wishfulcomper - Ouch, take care of yourself.

WBR - Have fun with your new goodies.

Nici - Nice to see you back and reconnected.

Sure there are more but my brain has gone to mush. I've made 5 cards tonight and done the colouring for another. Still have another three I have to get done by Thursday though so running out of time.

Lei - Humble apologies your card is going to be late I'm afraid as I had it in my head that all MSE birthdays were the end of the week. It is on the worktop with a first class stamp on so will be in a postbox tomorrow:o

Just to let peeps know I have had a dispatch note from Elzybells and I placed my order on the 6th. I believe they are not coming out in strict order as some of the stamps are being waited on.

Pouring with rain here and tomorrow we are forecast thunderstorms all day. It is such a shame as the early years have their party tomorrow and it is a beach theme and all outside, should be interesting. Obviously a british beach theme and not a greek one.

    Night X

Rusty Very cool Pratchett death pic. Hope you got your card sorted ok. I know you asked Melissa but is 700 calories enough... don't want to butt in but that sounds really low, if you drop it too low your body will go into starvation mode and you'll either not lose or gain weight. (please feel free to tell me to shut up... :o)

Rainmac wow you've been busy, sounds like you'll be glad when the holidays start. Thanks for the book in advance.

artydoll and wishfulcomper Sending you some hugs - hope you're both feeling better soon.

Marg Ironing  hope you get your comp fixed soon - it must be bad

    Congratulations **********

    (wow daily winners - fantastic!)

Wifey that's great news - so happy for you. :j:j

Well I'm a bit closer to my goal of getting back to crafting. Got a fair bit more painting done today and spent the night fighting to keep the cats out the bedroom so I don't end up with a trail of white paw prints all over the floors. One of the cats always lies on OH till he goes to sleep so I've spent the last half hour feeling so sorry for her - she's sitting looking at the closed door like Greyfriars Bobby. Wee shame. Off to read back on some of the pages I've missed so night all. x

My Sweetpea stamps arrived today and I have to say I'm more than a little bit pleased. The grab bags were fab value and I got the stamp that I've been after for ages but has been oos everywhere in it. :D I also got a dragon in the rain which I'd probably not have chosen myself, but I love it and have been looking at other ones from the set!

sounds good! I don't have any dragon ones but have my eye on one or two - dragon in the rain is definitely one :)

not looking at the elzybells site!!!! must not buy stash until Saturday.

Rainmanc - That's an amazing amount of profit - all worth the hard work, well done.

The cards and creations on the blogs are fantastic! I'm struggling to put names to blogs so I will say a massive well done to you all!

Has anyone come across Hello Kitty paper? I'm hooked on the door hangers at the moment, the paper has to be quite thick though
