Kandi - I'll have to learn how to use it first!! Quite excited though :D

    Hope she rings Daisy :)

I'd be happy to ditch the tights if I hadn't hacked my leg when shaving it last week :( Don't want to look all scabby!!

Oh I jkow what you mean alex, I got ever so excited in the sewing shop yday, found some material for a dress which reminds me of the one I like in warehouse atm but at £6/metre it's going to work out a huge amount cheaper! Now just need to finish the one I cut out last week..will head inside and do that jn a little while..

Ha! Alex I'm glad you got a machine!
I had massive sewing rage today though as at the last minute I decided to make an apron to go with the child's baking set I got for my friends daughter. I had almost finished when everything got chewed up and the machine jammed. It took me about 1/2 hour to sort the problem out and I was so stressed.
The finished article was worth it though, I think she'll love it.
I decided it was too hot for the playsuit today so just wore the black strapless Primark floral dress (same as Alex's) and enjoyed being cool.
DH goes back to work tomorrow so I'm going to have a tough day I think explaining where Daddy's gone.

    Evening,

Welcome home Vicki - glad you had a fab time.

Back from weekend up north. Went as a family to see the book of remembrance for my grandad (1st anniversary of his death). Think it was a good thing to do and he would have been so happy to see us all together, but it did bring it all back a bit.

Just as well my wee nephew Robbie (aged 2) was there- I look at him and it makes me happy because I realise that he's the future (he looks quite a bit like my grandad too, which helps me realise that family members live on through the next generations).

Will update blog with pics tomorrow. My outfits over the w/end were carp, but Robbie is super cute.

    xx

It will take me a good while to make anything that involves skill - I think the last thing I made with a sewing machine was a pencil case in year 8 at school!

    Morning - happy Monday!

    Quick outfit post:
    Orange blouse
    Black skinny jeans
    Leopard print ballet shoes

Think it's going to be a busy day at work today. We have a deadline to make a Ukrainian website live tonight...

Morning. What a lovely day. Has anyone pulled a sicky at work today to bask in the sunshine I wonder?
Dylan's taken the news quite well that it's just me and him today so we're going to messy play this morning and then playing in the garden this afternoon, I have a few errands to run also, exciting huh?
I'm just wearing a denim coloured jersey dress with shirred waist that I got for £5 in the Republic sale, feels cool but boring. Not that I don't love the summer but I do miss the versitility of layering.
