There are a few people MIA from this thread, I was reading over the first few pages looking for a link and haven't seen some around in a while.

OMG Piratefairy, I hope they can be fixed :( It's horrible when something happens to your favourite shoes.
I had a gorgeous pair of shoes a couple of years ago, sandally things they were, and I wore them to go to the seaside. The tide was in and we were sitting on this wall thing dangling our legs in the water, I had my shoes by the side of me - and a gust of wind caught one of them, flipped it into the water, and it got swept away :o:p It's really funny now but at the time it ruined the day, especially as I had to walk all the way back to the b&b with only one shoe!

I must confess I was decidedly no stylish today, although still presentable, I didn't go out looking a total tramp! Just boring. I went into town for my eye appointment (followed up by a scout around the shops) and I wore black jeans, trainers and a grey top with long black cardi. I just can't bring myself to wear a skirt to go out shopping, I feel overly dressed up especially when it's windy and you have to keep stopping it from flying about everywhere!

Although I have no money (well none that I should be spending anyway) I did buy a cute little over the shoulder tan bag from Primark for £3, and a tee shirt with little sparkley bits on the shoulders in the sale for £4 from new look. This made up for having to walk around town looking like a freak with orange dye in my eye from the optician!

Hope you have all had a good day
    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Hm it all seems to be working now. Clearly just threw a tantrum. Not my day today.

Retro, a chip butty sounds sooo good.
