Cardi & three coloured vests from Primark - I'm not too bothered about these as I expected to have to buy them. But I realised I'm going to the races next week and only have half an outfit so spent a little more than I intended on a navy blazer. But it's a size 14 and it looks lovely so I'm so happy I don't really care! :D Must not spend anything on clothes in April though.

Then as I was birthday shopping with my best friend (she's a week before me), she got me some lovely navy suede pumps with flowers on the front from DP and a white and blue polka dot flower headband from Topshop. So I do believe my outfit is complete. Huzzah! I don't usually dress up in girly fashion for the races but I'm going to do it this year :)

Sounds like a really lovely outfit, well done Alex :T

I know, I was made up! Weirdly the overall fit was a lot better than the size 16, although it is a smidgen tight. But it looks nice unbuttoned and I figured that it makes more sense to buy the smaller size as it's going to be wearable for longer :)

Too right, I like your thinking!!!!!!!! :D

daisy, post links to your finds and we will tell you whether to buy them or not :rotfl:

Oh goan, what a shame, you're going to have to wait a whole month to find out what vicki's birthday surprise was!!! You must cancel your trip! :rotfl: Just kidding, have a great time xo

Hi ladies, sorry AWOL yet again :o TBH this weather is really p1ss1ng me off ! (sorry :o) I've not had the energy or enthusiasm to even try and look nice as I'm always covered up with my rain mac and in my wellies at the moment.

Plus been trying to get organised for Easter break at mum and dad's and forthcoming holiday (which the weather had better improve for ..... or else ! :rotfl:)

So, I'll try and catch up over the next couple of hours. Sorry if I've missed anything important (like saying goodbye and safe journey to Goan, cross with myself for that ).

I think I might have a bit of PMT going on too ..... does it notice ? :p

  • hi everyone, hope everyone is well x

I had a total melt down today around moving, ended up going to bed for a few hours this afternoon for a sleep before work because it felt like all I could do, sounds pathetic I know I just needed to escape for a few hours. OH is going to liverpool to pick up the keys tomorrow and it feels like this massive move is coming way to quickly.

In terms of outfits today I wore jeans, tan cowboy boots, mustard coloured top and leopard print cardi. But I'm now in my PJ's curled up in bed with laptop and masterchef on tv, so no blog pics

Ah Queenie, (((hugs))) You'll be fine, and we're all here if you need support.

DH sneaked out of work early and I got to open it at half five! It was a very generous voucher for a local spa and I can choose a selection of pampering treatments but most exciting for me is that they specialise in acne treatment so I can try and get that sorted out. It is the absolute best present I can imagine.

So then we get to the restaurant and my Mum and Dad are sitting upstairs at the table with balloons and presents for me!
Had a gorgeous meal and now settled down to watch a film on box office.
Sorry to keep you all in suspence - I didn't know it was that exciting lol!
Have a great evening all, Goan have an amazing trip.
