Jasmines birthday was great thank you (and everyone else for the birthday messages), it all starts again next Saturday as thats her official party (couldn't get it booked for Saturday just as well I was too wiped out) so will have 20 odd 4 year olds and a party entertainer to contend with next week lol

oh does anyone know where i can get a sunglasses case from - the solid type, as my dad gave me some raybans he doesn't wear anymore, which actually don't look too awful on me lol, which i want to keep for in the car, but don't wanna ruin..
i usually don't bother with sunglasses case, as my other pairs are all from h&m / primark etc..

Matalan have some good ones I got one that has a very Chanel esque print on it for 2.00 :)

I hate hard cases, they always end up weird at the hinges for me. M&S quilted cases are EXCELLENT. I use them in my hand bag and car.

Book of things to make from 1975 sounds interesting...what type of things does it suggest?

Queen, it's fab, typical 70s crafts, including crocheted curtains and table cloth, macrame rug, tiered skirt, collages, patchwork bags, string pictures, the obligatory cuddly toys. There's also some rather bizarre things, including a man's holster wallet, and jewellery made out of sticky tape. I'll see if I can take some photos and post them in the next few days. If anybody's particularly inspired by anything, I'm happy to photocopy the patterns and send them on.

Daisy, glad to hear the blood tests went well today.

Retro, you feeling any better today? Now you've put the idea into my head I really fancy a piece of chocolate cake. Might have to stop off on the way to work and buy a piece. Oh, just thought, I can go and get a piece of chocolate and beetroot cake. I know that sounds gross, but it is so good, best chocloate cake I've tasted, really moist and you can't taste beetroot at all. Hmm, can I class it as part of my 5 a day? :rotfl:

Shamefully, I am still sitting in my Missoni striped dressing gown (how posh does that sound - I bought it for £20 in TK Maxx!) having just got out of the shower, although I am about to go and get dressed. However, I have no idea what to wear. Still feeling poo with cold, now got a chesty cough to go with it.

Anyway, onwards and upwards, time to go to work.

    morning all..
lost, a smart roadster woudl be cool for nipping about in :) im a bit of a car nerd too, my dad's fault!

    Luky you.

I'm not a car nerd, in fact, I hate this whole car thing, but I like th cars I like. I had a look at the insight this morning. I think its too big for what I want, but my dad keeps saying ''practical''. I love the look of the Smarts, of the two its the preferred option. There is a new Honda coming out later in the year which might be the answer, but then , I do want something sooner, and I'd wait a year to buy a nearly new, or I might lease? I dunno. I hate cars and have no car-y friends to help now either.:(:(
