Oh that's exciting tsabo..
Today's outfit has been my guiding centenary bright pink polo shirt. As I spent the day at the division event we've been organising for so long, which went brilliantly well.
So exhausted now after a day jn the sun coupled with a sleepless night last night, im just going to do the essential chores and have an early night...
Anyway, polo shirt with:
grey hitched hem skirt with pink/teal floral pattern - primark
purple/yellow floral print ballet pumps, topshop
large pink and blue and floral random chunky beads on necklace, new look0 -
Oh joy, you get to wear a bright pink polo shirt too PF! Glad your event went well x0
-
Yeah vicki, And it's actually really nice..
They did a special pink polo shirt for everyone in guiding to wear for the year, which is cool I think, something nice for the 100 yr!0 -
I'm glad your guiding event went well PF.
I had a stroke of luck on Saturday and found a maxi dress in a CS plus a pair of sandals arrived that I won on ebay so I've got something to wear with it!0 -
Morning,
Hope everyone had a good weekend.
The fashion awards were good fun last night and I didn't feel too out of place (although there was an odd moment when someone asked if I was from the BBC and I had to set them right and try to explain the concept of a fashion blog!). Got a few words with Paolo Nutini - quite like him and he looked very cute.
Will try to do a post on it tonight.
Some pics from weekend in Edinburgh in the usual place.

woohoo sarah
Gad you had a good time.
I found my old faithful black evening dress that I wear as a maxi while delving into a long lost corner of the room packing books last night....I also found the diary I had lost...I can't reach it yet, but good to know its there:o:o so its the black dress this morning.
I've lef only a skeleton wardrobe out now though, so for the next couple of weeks its going to be VERY boring.
Also a good point to warn you guys that in a couple of weeks I'm going to be dropping off the board for a while. I know I wonder when someone disappears from here what's happened (where for example, is Tara?)....but for me its as simple as we're not going to have a phone/broad band line or a while.0 -
Sarah glad the awards were good, you lucky thing.
PF yes it's a really nice gesture giving you all special T-shirts, I can imagine it looking good on you with your dark hair. I've been blessed with mine as I am on of a small handful who go into hospital as well so we get the pink ones so we stand out, the others wear grey and back which I liked. I could always stop volunteering at the hospital lol!
Lost will miss you, it's been so quiet without DB as it is. I have been wondering about Retro as well, where is everyone?
The weather seems to be picking up (phew) so I'm crossing everything and asking for sunny dry day vibes for tomorrow. I need to get some washing dry too but that's relatively minor!
Got soooo much to get done today, and rather insanely started painting my kitchen cupboards last week too which I want done ASAP. Why do I always take on too much. I'm supposed to be booking camping for 2 weeks time and haven't done that either.
Anyone else having a hectic time of it?0 -
Not quite as hectic as you and lost, but I've got to pack for two separate trips this week (camping at the weekend, on a road trip next week) and I'm a slooooow packer, plus it's going to leave my tiny wardrobe quite short of things to wear this week! Expect some dull/crazy outfits.
Lost - when do you expect to be in the new house? Or is that a very silly question?
Sarah - sounds fab!
Outfit today is:
Blue jersey strapless dress - New Look
Green cardi - Primark
Green and white stripy scarf - gift
Green birkenstock type sandals - DP
A mix of silver and green jewellery0 -
Gosh, it is quiet in here, isn't it! It's absolutely glorious here, even at 5.45 this morning as I was coming into work it was warm.
Sarah, sounds like you had a great time - and you lucky thing, meeting Paolo Nutini! Looking forward to hearing more later.
I was having a bit of a hunt for some old magazines at the weekend, and discovered no less than seven bags I'd forgotten I even had, including a lovely large vintage saddle bag, in a chest in the bedroom, along with a ton of makeup I won ages ago, some vintage jewellery, a tin of Penhaligon's perfumes, an Anya Hindmarch makeup bag, and 30 or so old Jackie mags that I'd been looking for!
Currently wearing:
pink/nude asymetric tshirt
black leggings
grey sequined & embroidery waistcoat
Tam Dao perfume0 -
Lost - when do you expect to be in the new house? Or is that a very silly question?
Not at all. About a fortnight. But I expect the move after that, with animals etc, to take a bout four weeks. we are having some issues with phone lines, so not going to bother till I've started the move and am on the spot, so I expect to be gone from here for anything up to eight weeks.
Also, can someone let DB know I got her text but am having phone problems...it keeps switching off mid text...I don't want her to think I don't care about her!0
