Morning all!
Well, despite a couple of bottles of wine and a curry I got up at 7am and walked into town for a swim...only to discover the council's bath's makeover hasn't yet been finished, grrr!
Simply had to indulge in some retail therapy to cheer myself up - my haul included a new pair of clogs, two vintage frocks, some customised Levi's shorts, a 1950's silk scarf, some handmade patent leather 1960's court shoes, a pile of trashy jewellery and a fancy Indian blouse and all for £22! I'm sooooo bad. I even managed to spend £17 in Poundland (on two hardback novels and Glastonbury toiletries). :eek:
Today's outfit:
Vintage green floral maxi dress (eBay £4.99)
Brown leather knee boots (Heart Foundation £4.99)
Silver bangles, rings and coin earrings (India)
Vintage leather Gladsone bag (20p Jumble sale)
....and of course, a Bump-it!
The ladies in the Hospice shop told me I'd been voted "Most Stylish Customiser"...don't know if I get a prize but it made me laugh.
Very excited about the footie. I'm popping out to visit dad and doing abit of eBaying before kick-off. It's another beer and curry with different friends later.
