Gosh, I haven't posted on here in ages!

Daisy, I'm so pleased for you. I'm sure you'll be having a mixture of feelings at the moment, and won't know whether you're coming or going, but at least with the short notice you won't have time to dwell on it.

Hope you don't mind, I'm just about to PM you for your address.

Daisy- hope it all goes well, short notice is probably a bit better as itf you knew weeks in advance would you worry more? anyway fingers crossed you do well.

Rebecca - can't remember what I wore to graduation probably trousers and top - nothing to OTT, just smart.

Rebecca - something smart, like you would wear to a smart office. Smart trousers or a knee length pencil skirt with a nice blouse, something quite smart.

    Good luck Daisy!

Tea - I've just done the Facebook thing even though I didn't quite understand what it was all about!

What a day that was - took 18yo to a college interview which she was so stressed about it was unreal - before AND after, then out for lunch followed by trawling the charity shops for yet more jumpers at the same time as spending most of the day on the phone to the Nationwide who helpfully blocked oldest offspring's card, presumably because she's living in Rhodes. She has no money, hasn't eaten for 2 days and has no credit to ring them herself. Got a little sick in the end of people telling me there was nothing they could do as she had to ring them herself. It finally got sorted by about 3.30 after a nice lady on the phone consented to ring her which isn't policy as I could be giving her any number.
I really should be spending tonight sewing as I'm 2 garments short of my target of 5 garments by Friday and I'm out yet AGAIN tomorrow morning but I need some serious chilling time.
I'm going to do my Welsh lesson in a minute, finally taken the plunge after months of procrastinating, I spend so much time with Welsh speakers it has to be done really, it's not fun being clueless as to what people are talking about! It turns out that what I learnt at school was no good at all since not only was it formal written Welsh and nobody speaks like that but also we were taught South rather than North grrrr.

Been into town today and saw some lovely things in Peacocks:
    I love these

But thought they were a bit dear at £16. Hopefully they will come down a bit soon.
They also had a gorgeous maxi dress in pale pink, coral and navy in a sheer floaty fabric with a lining, but that was £25 and I was in a stingy mood. Will have a think about that one.

I almost bought a plain jersey maxi in a small shop in town that was down to £12 from £17 I'd tried it on ages ago but again thought it a lot if money (is there a theme here?) but really need to try it on again and decide which colour to go for.

Also bought more patio tubs, small hanging baskets for Dylan's playhouse which I'll fill with strawberries for him!, and some ribbon, lace and 3 zips! This is exciting as I haven't yet done a zip and have been working up to it!

Best of luck Daisy whilst you are there, I'll be thinking of you getting better - and just think of the AMAZING shopping spree you can go on when you come out again!

Rebecca, I wore a grey pencil skirt and a mint green blouse type top - check what colour your hood will be too so it doesn't clash. I remember getting told off by the bloke at my graduation because I didn't want to go on stage in that crappy hat. I tried to get out of wearing it altogether but they wouldn't even let me attend if I didn't!

Love those shoes Vicki! Been looking everywhere for gladiators, pref pewter and nothing anywhere that is what I see in my head. Primark had some, the £4 ones but Wrexham only had 5s and 6s. Might pop to Peacocks tomorrow to see if they've any of those.
