Netto mince, and classic bacon

Anybody here familiar with Netto's extra lean minced beef (2x400g for £3 from tommorow)? Also, their minced pork (£1.80 500g), and Beckett's classic bacon (1.361Kg catering pack £5)? Heading down there to grab some San Miguel (20x275ml bottles £10.99) tomorrow, hoping the mince and bacon is MSE approved!

haven't tried the pork or mince but the San Miguel was an excellent buy and went down well at my 19 year old son's mexican themed birthday.

Thanks for the heads up about those offers - was heading to Netto tonight anyway to get some cheap rose wine, ended up getting the mince and the bacon - the offers must start early in this neck of the woods!

Haven't tried the bacon before but it looks fine and £4.69 for 4x250g pkts it's brilliant value and worth a try. Have had the mince before, used it in bolognese/lasagne and it was lovely, not greasy and no nasty gristly bits, definitely a good buy. Chopped tinned tomatoes were on offer too - only 25p so I stocked up on those too. Oh and sugar - 2x1kg for £1.30, bargain!

Never seems to be much love for Netto on these boards (except for the cheap booze!) but I think they're great, have fab offers on all sorts of things, decent quality F&V and cheap branded stuff (not to mention £2.59 a bottle wine!:beer:), do most of my shopping there now and top up from Mr A's for any other bits I need. Particularly impressed with their washing powder - £1.69 for a big 3kg box that lasts me AGES and cleans as well as more expensive stuff. Love it!
